I went into Gusto last Saturday with a large party for a birthday celebration, we had such a fab time!! Tasty cocktails, delicious food, great company and the staff are outstanding!! They made us all feel extremely valued and welcome! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody looking for a brilliant dining experience!

Gusto is so great. Went to Gusto in the Albert Dock for my birthday with my boyfriend and then to Gusto in Heswall with my family for another birthday meal, it was great, will definitely be back! The staff are really friendly, obviously a company thing of great staff! They are really impressive, definitely the best restaurant in the Wirral. Thank you. Layla.

Absolutely delicious food - starter wonderful, but unfortunately, .main course served on cold plates and serving dish also cold. This meant that I could not finish the meal, even though I wanted to, because all the food had gone cold. Easy to rectify - just serve the meal on hot plates and dishes!

Hi, I have been in GUSTO this week, and it is so busy! I hear it's GUSTO's 3rd Birthday and they also have a new menu. I only popped in for drinks but i plan to book for this weekend. It looks so appealing and all the staff are so helpful. See you all soon.

My husband and I managed to take advantage of a last-minute cancellation at Da Piero last night and we were extremely glad we did! This is without doubt the best Italian food I have tasted outside of Italy. The crayfish starter was simple but delicious and very fresh. The main course of home-made Sicilian sausages with lentils was lovely and very filling, to the point where we could not manage dessert (much to our disappointment). The service was just right - friendly and helpful, but not at all pushy. We will definitely be going back!

I went the restaurant last week, was disgusted with the look of the restaurant building, the main entrance was not rustic as people say it is just old, dirty and tatty and needs a more modern approach, would be nice to see into restaurant from outside, needs to be more inviting. The whole decor needs updating, needs bringing into the 21st century and not staying in the dirty past ages. I also noticed a lady who worked there constantly shouting at staff and fussing too much, I think she may have been the owner but the atmosphere she created was very negative, the staff are very good and don't need to be babysat. The food was average but service good, view is obviously the best thing about the place, something needs to be done to attract people to the place, cant see many young people attending which should be a key target for Sheldrakes.

Visited last weekend (Friday 9th) really enjoyed the buzz of the restaurant, always seems to be the busiest restaurant in Heswall, ive also often recommended this place to visiting friends and they love it everytime. Really happy we have a place that never does anything less than impress in Heswall. Thanks SL

Enjoyed a very delicious lunch at Sheldrakes on a gorgeous sunny day- which heightened the sense that we were in fact in the Med!The outside seating and views make you feel like you're on holiday- bliss. The food, staff and drinks were all wonderful and to a very high standard. Will definitely be returning very soon.

Eaten at Gusto Heswall about twelve times now- for both lunch and dinner- and it never fails to impress my boyfriend and I. Food is always perfection, staff are wonderful and the atmosphere is brilliant- love the fairy lights in the trees! Cannot fault one aspect of this restaurant. We will continue to visit forever!!. Love, love, love it!!!

Just wanted to say what a lovely meal we all had on Saturday night. I run a social club offering events and activities, so brought 6 others along for a meal. We all thoroughly enjoyed t and the staff were great. Thank You

Gusto is great, sat out the other day in the sun, drinking cocktails then had some nibbles and things, was amazed, not only is it a place to eat but also great place to drink.

Absolutely loved our visit to Tapa Vista at the jug for a friends birthday. The Spanish meatballs and paella were to die for. We went on a Thursday were they had a great offer which includes a free bottle of wine each! I would highly recommend the tapas at the jug and will definitely be going back soon.

The best Indian restaurant in the area. Friendly service, excellent quality and choice of food - plenty of mild dishes, but if you like hot and tasty, try the dishes with naga chillies. Prices are very reasonable, and and it's b.y.o., so it's the best value I've found in the north-west. The downstairs restaurant is small so there's plenty of atmosphere, and they have a separate room upstairs for any large groups or functions.

Have to be negative I'm afraid. Not usually a fan of Ego's as food a bit bland and overpriced for what it is, but your voucher offer persuaded us to try them again. I was upfront about the voucher when booking by phone, as have been in situation where restaurant has refused voucher if not told in advance. BIG MISTAKE as treated like 2nd class citizens I felt, as a consequence. Starters took about 45 mins to come, while those seated after us tucked in. Was told mezze plate took time to plate up, though not sure why house salad with feta added, shop bought pitta and greek dips takes so long to put on plate (hummus probably was homemade but had little in the way of tahini, lemon or other seasoning to make it interesting, so shop bought might have been better) Pointing out delay politely made little difference and 11/2 hours after arrival, when we were just about to walk out, main courses arrived, and couldn't say quality made up for the wait. The moral: don't let on 'til you pay about any vouchers. Even though ironically the restaurant was advertising them on board outside, they obviously don't like them. Better still, go to MEZZE Mediterranean restaurant in Liscard, where full-priced food will still cost you less and all be homemade and delicious, including the heavenly homemade pitta bread. It's been there years and has loyal clientele, which speaks volumes!

Have been a regular at the Heswall Tandoori since 2004 and have always been very impressed with both the friendly service and outstanding food. I have frequented many of the curry houses on the Wirral and can honestly say that the Heswall Tandoori is the top of the crop. Great consistent food every time, reasonable prices, what more can you want! AAA+

This is by far the best Indian I have ever eaten in! As a complete curry addict I have eaten in restaurants all over the UK and this one cannot be beaten. Thankfully I live reasonably close so I can enjoy it regularly!

Gusto Heswall has not failed to impress yet! Have visited a few times now and have always had excellent service and food. Great for a casual meal as well as a celebration! Would wholeheartedly recommend.

went last week and it was delicious! £10 per person, soup, starters, a main course with rice and coffee, excellent value! Lovely restaurant, clean and modern with friendly attentive staff. If you have a birthday, tell them as they bring your cake out (you take your own cake I might add) with a sparkler and someone bangs the gong (be aware it frightens the life out of you if you don't happen to see it coming)! Been a couple of times now and never been disappointed! We went Sunday afternoon and had booked which was a good idea as it was quite full for a Sunday. Defo recommend!
