Brooks tapas never disappoints- delicious fresh food always!

Excellent meal. Delicious food. Friendly and prompt service and a vibrant atmosphere. Brooks is going to be up there as one of our favourite restaurants now. We shall definitely be back!

Well organised, Lovely interior setting/vibe. Welcoming. Really lovely and helpful staff. Food is well cooked, well presented, nice to have a change from the usual pub/bistro/westernised offerings found on the 'high street'. I will say the portion sizes are generous, but if you do order too much, the staff are more than happy to package it to take with you. I would highly recommend purely for the different flavour experience, from a small non chain outlet, who strive and achieve a really genuine experience and service, I wish them well and longevity. Well done Brooks Team.

What a fantastic find! Lovely ambience on a very wet evening. Staff warm and welcoming. Varied menu with something to please everyone. One of our party is vegan and commented she was very excited at the choice. We chose a number of dishes and thoroughly enjoyed them all - impossible to chose a favourite. A great experience and one we will definitely repeat.

We came to Ilkley for the weekend to watch a rugby match. We went up on to Ilkley Moor (Baht 'at), watched the rugby and managed to get a table at Brooks. If you don't mention the rugby score we had a wonderful weekend, and Brooks on Saturday night was the crowning glory. A warm welcome on arrival, efficient and friendly service, a good selection of both food and drink on the Menu, and delicious food when it was served. It was fairly quiet when we arrived at 7:15 but jam packed when we left, and I'm not surprised! I'm always dubious about writing good reviews because it reduces the chances of getting in next time we want to! However, we do live 70 miles away so we need to plan well in advance anyway. Here's to the next time!

We dined at Brooks yesterday evening for the first time, being fairly new to the area. It certainly won’t be our last as we had a fantastic meal. From start to finish the service was excellent, the staff were all very attentive and lovely and the food / drinks came out fairly quickly. The food was amazing, really tasty and cooked to perfection. Thank you Brooks for a great evening!

The first time we ate here (last year) we were blown away by the delicious food. We ate here again this week and were not disappointed the food was just amazing. Clearly freshly made, beautifully presented, different - in a very good way, and frankly just delicious. Add to that friendly attentive service , without being intrusive, and great surroundings it was another great night and we will be back!

Cracking restaurant. Food is great and the novel tapas approach to Sri Lankan food means you get to try loads of things. Will definitely come again

This was our first visit to Brooks and we enjoyed our evening- good range of tapas tempura vegetables and a couple of tasty chicken dishes being highlights, and only one or two misses (we didn’t like the pancakes). Friendly, helpful service and a pleasant atmosphere.

Delicious! We ordered 3 dishes each, to share, plus sides and polished off every plate. I can't remember the last time I've left my plate completely empty! The waiting staff recommended the sorbet for dessert and I was dubious about avocado sorbet but she was right, it was so nice and the perfect end to the meal.
