My 5 friends and I went for a late lunch at Brooks. We all hadn’t been there before and didn’t quite know what to expect. The menu was varied and extensive with dishes that would appeal to many. We ordered a wide range of dishes. We had one vegan in the group who was spoilt for choice - as were the omnivores. The drinks menu was very good too and we were very tempted by the cocktails. All the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The service from the moment we walked through the front door was warm and friendly. All in all a perfect meal out with friends. We cannot wait to visit again

A varied menu choice , something for everyone. Amongst other dishes we particularly loved the beef curry, prawn Badum and Moratuwa chicken, all delicious, coupled with excellent service. Never disappointed when we eat here.

Saturday lunch - This was my 3rd visit since New Year. Once again we enjoyed a wonderful, leisurely meal, excellent food and great service.

Lovely food, great atmosphere and brilliant staff. Will be going far more often.

Everything was first class , I will definitely be going back. I hope the blonde lady on the next who obviously had had one too many , it’s there .

Super range of tasty sari Lankan choices, freshly cooked in ideal portion sizes. We shared every dish such was our selection envy. Wonderful cheery service too (from Eloudi), plus warm ambience with a great playlist gently in the background. Perfect. First visit, and will return

Absolutely stunning! The meal was the best I’ve had in a long long time. Can’t wait to return! Especially loved the tempura prawns and sea bass.. and black pork and potatoes…ok we loved it all!!!!

The food here is absolutely delicious. Most not too spicy but very very tasty. We love the Asian slaw and the prawns! And the little home made roti are great, with a fiercely spicy dip. Everything is fresh and not too heavy. And excellent service. Thoroughly recommend it.

Superb.

This was my second visit to Brooks and once again the food was fabulous and the service excellent. The flavours in the Ceylon chicken were wonderful with the cashew nuts being a lovely crunchy contrast to the softness of the chicken. The Sri Lankan tiger prawn curry was also delicately flavoured and very enjoyable. I would recommend ordering a rice dish as I found (on my previous visit) that the roti did not soak up the sauce. I absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely atmosphere, with fabulous food and great customer service. Lots of GF and Vegan as well. Would thoroughly recommend.

We have visited Brooks now fairly regularly for the last few months, the dishes are first class, and very tasty, the service is great with enthusiastic owners and superb serving staff, in a great venue. One of our favourite eating establishments.

The food was absolutely devine. We went here for a birthday treat. We also had a few cheeky Rhubarb + Custard cocktails which were delicious too! We loved everything. Thank you.

The food, service and ambiance are all excellent. The food is beautifully cooked and very tasty. Service is of a very high standard. Value for money is one of the best restaurants in Ilkley. I enjoy it every time I go.
