Came here for the early bird menu. Other than having to wait a little too long for my drink (had to ask for it again after finishing my starter, and the waitress had clearly forgotten all about it) the service was excellent and the food delicious, as well as beautifully presented. Would visit again.

After dining at the Cow and Calf on the evening of the 19th March, and being a regular customer , I am sorry to have to say that the service was appalling. We ordered our drinks and meal at the desk and after some wines not being available we sat and waited for our main course, which took some time to arrive. It was hot and well cooked and presented. However, when we ordered our dessert we waited around 50 minutes for it and decided we could wait no longer. When we queried this at the desk we were told there was no slip for our desserts, even though our waitress had enquired previously when they would be ready. We paid and left without coffees or desserts and were very disappointed at our treatment. I think it will be a long time before we will be back.

This was our first visit to the veggie since the new owners took over,it has to be said we were somewhat reluctant.However we need not of worried,we arrived after a lengthy walk across ilkley moor & were welcomed in by Julie (the new owner) she was friendly & informative. After long look over the menu Julie helped us decide what to have, I choose the Veggie Mezze (large & plentiful) & my husband the Veggie Burger (much enjoyed) Both arrived promptly & were delicious & well presented. Afterwards we were unable to resist the temptation of the Guinness cake (amazing) & coffee. I must say we will certainly be visiting again soon. I feel sure Garry & Julie will do a marvellous job here.Good luck to you both.

Visited Audley Clevedon bistro and nearly gave up finding it as it's at the top of drive. So glad we persevered as it is a real find. The views are lovely and the food and service were fab. Had 2 courses for £9.95 their current offer - and all very good quality - a bargain. It was fairly quiet - only another couple of tables in but we loved it - relaxed and not frantic and a beautiful building. Will return - to try their Sunday lunch next - it's our new favourite and wondered whether to keep it a secret or not!

Warm welcome, despite not booking. Early evening menu impressive and good value. Food delightful. The whole experience was a first time pleasure.

this is one of the most best Indian restaurant everybody should visit and find out for themselves.the staff are brill,and decoration of kashmira are one of the best.its clean and bright,just like all the staff and management.keep up the good work. forgot to say the food is ace also.affordable,well presented and a taste to die for. well done to you all.val

15th August 2009 Went to the Box Tree for my birthday, and had the most wonderful time... The staff are very friendly, and attentive. The food was absolutely superb. I had warm goats cheese salad to start, followed by confit of duck, then creme brulee. Superb!

We had dinner at the Veggie Cafe last night as part of their Summer Nights promotion (£15 for 2 courses). The owner/chef, Kim Green, was very friendly and helpful, and is now trying to keep afloat all by herself, which is no mean feat in the current economic climate. We had a delicious gardener's soup with soda bread and a fresh-tasting watermelon and halloumi salad as starters, followed by a spicy vegetable Masala with coriander rice, and a very rich, tasty mushroom lasagna. Portions were generous. We just found room for a chocolate brownie dessert and a baked apple and blueberry pudding. We couldn't fault the food or service, and hope to come back again soon.

We booked the Lebanese night at the Veggie. What a disappointment and I mean disappointment. To be serviced a couple of spoonfuls of couscous and three tiny rock hard tasteless veggie balls for a starter is not acceptable. The main course was no better, this time five spoonfuls of tasteless uninteresting bean mush. The only good thing about the whole experience was the desert - which was bought in, and the wine that we brought along. If you like plain uninteresting food and eat like a mouse then you will not be disappointed.

We have dined at this restaurant several times in the last few months and also had takeaways. It has quickly become our favourite place to eat in the local area. Food is always of an excellent standard, service is friendly and prompt, the restaurant is comfortable and relaxing. I would recommend this place to anyone who is a fan of good quality curries!

I live just above the Grove in Ilkley and visited The Veggie recently on a Friday evening. It has to be said the food is very good for the price, it tastes home cooked and the salads are wonderful. The prices are OK at £7 ish for evening meal, only thing I would say is the place is a bit small (they had to turn people away) but I suppose that's cozy. There are quite a few places in Ilkley to eat but I would say this is in the top 3, I will be going again and I am not even a vegetarian.

I highly recommend dinning at Emporio Italia, if you love fine food, good wine, great service and the true authentic feeling of being right in the heart of Italy...You must go!

We tried this restaurant eight times in eight weeks for both eating in and takeaways. The food is consistently excellent with a wide range of both vegetarian and non vegetarian options, meals not on other restaurant menus and the ingredients all good quality (no frozen veg). The service is polite and prompt and the decor is subtle and comfortable. The only down side is it's popularity which leads to big queues around 7.00 pm onwards and a distinct lack of parking. I would suggest getting in early and/or walk/taxi/bus (bus stop directly outside).

Hi i recently attended a meeting at this Inn - the food was lovely and service very good. The staff were helpful. the restaurant has recently been refurbished. It is in a lovely spot on Ilkely Moor. No complaints

If you wana go to hospital than no need ambulance just go to kashmire aroma form there you will go straight to hospital.becoz i am in hospital now and now post a letter to aroma.
