This is the worst Indian Restaurant we have ever been to. The service was rushed and the food was absolutely tasteless!!!! Waste of money, waste of time!!

Great friendly atmosphere, great selection of wines all reasonably priced, varied menu and excellent home cooked food. Have already booked up for next weekend. Can't fault it and great value for money.

We love this homely family run restaurant and stop there with our children on the way home from a day at the beach before we hit the journey back to North London. A very friendly place with great homemade food aswell as good fish and chips. Large portions and great kids menu!

Recently used the acorn for a family birthday lunch - the food was excellent (plates hot, food piping hot and plenty of it.) Overall a very enjoyable experience at a reasonable price- good value for money

The hannah Dining Suite has a great setting in Quex Park, attached to the "big house". It's mostly given over to weddings or corporate functions, so booking is essential. Exec chef Dev Biswal is has devised a unique menu which takes the dinner on a 'Round Britain Tour' of classic British dishes like Irish Stew, Fish & Chips, Welsh Rabbit, Deep Fried Mars Bar (I'm kidding). Most of the produce is grown on the estate's surrounding farm. Check out the Sunday carvery's.

Excellent food .. really freshly cooked ... the best roast potatoes I've tasted, all served in a splendid old pub with perfect hosts.... Mouth- watering puddings to finish !!

Well worth repeat visits...the atmosphere,food,and variety of drinks are excellent and Peter & Kath are the perfect hosts.

they make the most amazing beef and ale pie you have ever tasted! tender beef - and plenty of it (not thinned out with mushrooms or kidney etc), tasty rich sauce, crisp mouth-watering thin pastry!
