It's a friendly warm place to chill on a cold winters day. The menu suits all ages and the prices are very wallet friendly.

The manager tony butcher is a perverted man who tries it on with any Tom Dick or Harry!! His ars smells of old mature cheddar.

I was most impressed with the carvery and the fact that it was possible to have a smaller portion of meat if required. It was delicious and there were unlimited vegetables. Recommended to friends.

We used to come here a while ago ,always did a great rabbit pi.e Now............ not so good, overpriced ,uninteresting,greasy mass produced ,really not very nice.

Went to Canterbury last September and found this charming pub and had lunch. My husband ordered a chicken pie that he is still raving about to this day and I had the ploughman's lunch which was excellent. Would recommend this pub highly. would appreciate it if I could get the recipe for that chicken pie with that wonderful flaky crust.

I would highly recommend Pinnochios Italian restaurant in Canterbury. It is so rare, in this world of chain restaurants to find a proper authentic restaurant where food is cooked fresh to order. The surroundings are relaxing and its like being in a friends Italian house but only in Canterbury ! The owner is very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Food is divine.................

Always a friendly welcome, and great food! Pizza's here are really Yum! Child friendly and lovely sitting in the glass roofed area. Good value for money, away from the madding crowd just enough to be back in the middle of Canterbury in 2 mins.

the fitz is in a fantastically beautiful location, and this was only improved by the delicious food i then ate. everything about this pub screams countryside - and the locals were fun to once we all had a few drinks inside of us! highly recommended.

Keep on driving! I have just been served a piece of skate that qualified for an old age pension. If the chef couldn't smell it he shouldn't be in a kitchen.

Cheap and tacky meets bad food. If you are looking for a Thai meal this is not the place to go. The Restaurant had decor that would not look out of place in the home section of TK Max and the food was uninteresting and flavourless. A waste of the 85.64 pounds i spent on the bill. NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! Thai Time in Sandwich is the best option for Thai in the area

I can across this place a while ago now with a friend of mine. We generally frequent this place on Sunday's and have never had other than good food & pleasant atmosphere, except when they had run out of food one week - so give Caroline a call before going if you are travelling any distance.
