Went for Sunday lunch and had the beef roast it was lovely my sister and I really enjoyed it lovely pink beef been there a few times now and always the same never had a disappointing visit

The Pie of the week and Chicken Kiev were both amazing. Waitresses very attentive

The best Sunday roast dinner I have eaten in a pub. Although it’s a pricey meal, it was great value for money, lots of different components and all cooked amazingly, the beef was unreal. Lovely cosy atmosphere, would highly recommend and will be back.

Came for Sunday lunch in Feb 25. Overall excellent experience. Food was very good. Quality over quantity and good value for what we had with drinks. Staff were spot-on. Warm and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious food and brilliant service

We went to Queen's Head for a roast dinner which was fantastic. It was all very good, the roast beef was cooked to perfection, vegetable and roast potatoes was lovely. The cauliflower cheese was the best we have ever had, quite obvious a good tasty cheese. My husband actually said it was better than mine, which is rare for him to say. Plenty enough, to the point we were too full to manage a pudding. Great roast, worth every penny. Love to try other meals on the menu

Outstanding roast dinner and service to match, I sent my dietary restrictions with the booking and as soon as I sat down the staff explained what I could and couldn’t have an offered my extra of what I could to make up for it. It was so delicious too. Thank you so much.

Booked a table for 4 people , fire was on , nice warm friendly pub , had the lamb shank & was perfectly cooked as was the other 3 meals , staff was very tentative & kept our glasses full , allways a favourite for us.

Starter not the best choices for a Sunday, food was good service ok they checked on us 3 times! However I do feel it was overpriced

Came along with four friends and were not disappointed. Very efficient and polite service and superbly cooked food all round. Our compliments to the chefs!

6 of us ate on the first night of reopening after Xmas , the food was top quality,staff attentive and atmosphere was really relaxed. Would recommend to everyone

We went for a roast on NYD and it was delicious, couldn’t fault it. The pub was warm and cosy, service was good and the food was great. Well done to you all working on NYD and smashing it!
