Lovely food, friendly service

Great food and great service!

Both the herb & feta chicken and the pork shoulder were absolutely delicious- Masterchef quality we thought! Service was very friendly but a bit slow - we waited almost an hour (the complimentary olives were very welcome). Would we go back? - yes in aheartbeat!!!

Great meal last night here. The food was fantastic and all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Brought two friends over for a return trip to the QA and, as usual, were not disappointed. The food never fails to impress and as has been commented on before, is a cut above the rest, but still firmly grounded to traditional values. Portion sizes are just right. Not too big, not too small and you leave feeling happy. Anyone can over indulge, of course! Will continue to return to the QA, as long as these standards of food and friendliness remain - but I am somewhat biased, of course!

Enjoyed the hot cheese board and fish and chips as a main. Miss the curry sauce with the fish and chips!! Brownie dessert was delish. Music for atmosphere could have be more prominent/louder. Service was friendly and good as always

Excellent Sunday roast, excellent pub!

Faultless meal we enjoyed Easter Sunday, staff were so helpful & were always checked on. The 3 courses were delicious, cant wait to return in the summer months.

We were a party of 10 adults and 1 child celebrating a birthday. We were booked at 7pm and most had a starter but the mains took a very long time to arrive. First two meals arrived at 8:40pm! However when it did arrive it was worth the wait. All 10 meals were delicious!

Lovely meal, smashing atmosphere and excellent value .....shame they ran out of steak ale pie.

Me and my partner came for lunch we had the perfect table next to the open fire which was lovely!! The food was very good will definitely be back

A welcoming pub to walk into. Service was enpointe from the word go. Plenty of time given to settle and be ready to order. Food was first class - fish and chips for two - plenty to eat and very tasty and the battered fish was light. Deserts were good and filling and sweet.
