This restaurant is the magic fairy secret of Kings heath. You wouldn't know it was here but go through the "magic garden" and you come across a lovely warm and well presented restaurant selling the finest organic produce. I've had several meals here and one Christmas one. They have all been to a good standard. The problem is the portion sizes which are a bit on the mean side to be honest in ratio to the cost. I know I know it's the quality of the grub that counts but give me a bit more next time please.

This is an absolutely beautiful Indian restaurant and one I have been coming to since it opened. I have never had a disappointing meal and one of my friends comes all the way from Lichfield to sample its delights. So it's with regret that I experienced something the last few times I have been that has put me off. Perhaps success breeds contempt or complacency or maybe they were just too plain busy to bother? But the surliness of the waiters and their brusque unfriendly manner is no longer something I can put down to an off day.

nice atmosphere, great good especially the new "low fat dishes". Was a bit hesitant first before ordering, however i was proven wrong!

This shop is excellent!!!!! I went there, and after the long but entertaining queue, I was served by such wonderful staff, who were laughing and joking, and providing the banter like you used to get at chip shops. I ordered fish and chips, which the fish was HUGE and enjoyed every bite!!! the fish was delicious and so soft and mouth watering. The food was A1, and i agree with the Birmingham Mails coverage of the shop in its four star ratings- but i will give them 5 stars. Thanks alot, and i will be back again and again!!!

best deals in Birmingham the mini meals are 99p but the quality is outstanding no cheap products because price is cheap it was great

I am not one for Chinese food, have always found it very boring, although my boyfriend is a great fan. Stumbled in here after work one day and what can I say? The food arrived promptly and was very tasty. We ordered two drinks, egg fried rice, noodles, chicken stir-fry-something-or-other and a spicy lamb dish for less than £18 for us both. Have been back a few times (and ordered take-out). Not an extensive menu but if you are ndecisive, all the better. The restaurant itself is lovely and quiet, even when busy so ideal for unwinding. I would certainly recommend it.

The shop owners have 28years experience in the food industry with regular update courses and certificates in hygiene, handling food and HACCP as well as his staff. the food cooked with best quality product and the fish is deliver daily fresh from Aberdeen and Grimsby fish monikers. They using cholesterol free palm oil for frying.100%lamb meet kebabs and chicken blend and marinated in spices and herbs. Very tasty and healthy. Price are very reasonable and justified by the quality and service. as the owner says :if the customers are please tell your friends if not tell him.

I was never really a fan of Indian food, but the food here is amazing, the staff are so friendly. Its definitely value for money! My entire family are all fans, so are friends that know about it! I? constantly recommending the Spice Merchants to everyone!!
