My husband and I are regulars at this restaurant for good reason: the quality of the food is exquisite, especially the specialty dishes. The chef is versatile on the range of Indian cuisine. One of our favourites is the eastern noodle delight- truly fit for a king. What sets this place apart is the ability to experiment on enticing new dishes and combination of flavours, yet keep the tried and tested favourites on the house menu.Shaz  is an excellent host and always make us feel welcome. It is a warming environment for an after-work destressor yet enchanting an atmosphere for an anniversary dinner with friends and family. We would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant - the quality of the food speaks volumes. thank u so much

what can i say about jade palace, well the food is out of this world, drinks are at a good price and i will go back there again and will tell my friends about it to go there. it is a must if you are looking for somewhere nice to eat.

the Indian in a 20 mile radius by far superb food excellent service and spot on prices!! byo you can't beat that!!!

“Beautiful surrounding, friendly atmosphere and great food” May 1, 2010, I went to this restaurant for a meal for my birthday, the waiters were very friendly, and checked if we were ok with everything every now and again. They were very attentive, and helped us choose the dishes that would suits us. The restaurant itself was beautiful, and allowed me and my friends to take tons of pictures in such a nice place. The food was very lovely, with the just the right amount of spices. I went there again a few days ago, and nothing had changed, the waiters were friendly and happy to see us again, and the food was top notch once again. This is definitely a place to eat and go to! i loved it will see u soon very soon !

went to this place last week nice place great design thumbs up there, but they need to bring in alcohol as bring your own is an old idea.

My friends booked table for a large party at in blue ginger. Food was ok ! But the bill was alot. I think next week I will be going to a Indian few doors down I think some one said it's got a huge bar! :)

Oh no ! Not another Indian . Well that's what my husband said. How wrong was he ! Just like the review said by one of the regulars at blue Ginger, it's the sign on the window that attracted us to the restaurant. I totally agree what a logo ! I bet they get alot of customers coming in after Reading that on the window , u can't miss it it's on a orange background with black writing . Well soon as we went in we was made welcome & seated. I must say this is the place to be if you want to enjoy some very high standard of Indian food it easily gets 10/10. And we got our own drinks there's no corkage charge . Good luck boys ! And no you ain't just another Indian restaurant ! U are very special ! Add us to your regular list !

Well we all know there's a recession at the moment so we have cut down on most luxuries in life. Regardless we still have to eat ! What attracted me to blue Ginger was their logo on the window which reads - don't let the cost of drinking out stop you eating out !  Who ever came out with this logo must be a very clever business person . Well that's straight to the point . Me and my husband and kids went in for a meal. We are regular curry eaters. But have had to cut down. Because of the price of wines and spirits in restaurant. We where surprised when we got our bill, me and my husband worked out it was 40% cheaper then a licensed restaurant. No wonder they are so busy ! The food is 10/10 Service 10/10 Bill 10/10 Thanks alot and good luck , just keep up the good work and the only way is up for u gentlemen . will see u soon Helen xxxx

Hi guys. Me and my family would like to thank u for such a lovely evening. We booked a table for 20 . Some of our mates have tried u. Well what a experience ! : ) how do you do it ? Such good food and it's tastes so fresh. Was going to a local rest to u, but u have won us over. Will be seeing u gentlemen soon ! And I mean gentlemen ! Blue ginger has got to be the best restaurant in Bristol. The waiters can all speak English and the foods excellent. I love Indian food and this has 1 ova all the others.bring ur own alcohol and sit at the table as long as u want which is great.the plates and cutlery are first class and the place is very clean. We had 2 starters, main courses, rice and naan, the bill was only £26. Fantastic and wish u all the success. Well done lads keep up the good work.

Having read all the brilliant reviews on this website, I decided to try blue ginger. Firstly, when i got there, i was disappointed by quiet atmosphere, we were the only customers there. Some Indians are bustling but this one, probably because it is new, was practically empty. We looked at the menu and they have a mishmash of things, including some fruity curries and nans which took me by surprise. The service was below average, with the waiters not being attentive considering the place was dead. They don't serve alcohol either which really disappointed us :( Having read some of the reviews again on this page, i realised they are very similar in what they say, which is quite suspicious. Try it or yourself and see, but i speak as a genuine visiting customer and this was my experience of blue ginger. I would stick to my other Indian whitchurch local ;)

Disappointed by food, although the venue itself is nice. Wouldn't recommend to a friend too expensive and not worth the value. Sorry but that my opinion!

Found it astonishing that this place has so many reviews when it has literally just opened..but anyway..ok food, standard indian. Doesn't really stand out for me, service was slow even though its wasn't that busy, and no alcohol which was a major turn off.

Well to start off with. This restaurant Is something else ! I am a regular curry eater. ( 3 times a week ) so are most of my family and friends. We having been eating at a local rest since 2004 ; ) . Have tried all the ones in Bristol and bath. But then decided to try this blue Ginger . I have been eating Curry's since I remember, and believe me when I say I know what is good food when I taste it. And blue Ginger ticks all the box's ! This restaurant just shines out. I have block booked for the next three months for the weekends. ( just to be on the safe side ) me and my family and friends would like to wish blue Ginger all the success they deserve ! It's like a pebble when u drop it in a pond and the ripple starts soon the ripple will spread an we all will know blue Ginger !

Went to visit blue ginger after driving past and booked a table for me and my partner. Thoroughly disappointed by the food, didn't really have a kick and have tried many better curries around Bristol. There are better local Indians around in my opinion, and the fact that they don't serve alcohol was worse. How can you expect customers to get their own drinks? You may as well get a takeaway or delivery at home. Try the Paprika down the road instead for a meal you wont forget.

I was looking for an Indian restaurant somewhere to go on a first date. I spotted a review for this place on sugarvine and decided to try it out. So went along last night and lets just put it this way my date was impressed and i was even more so. The date and the food were excellent. I think this is the one. That's the Indian I'll be going back next week with friends and can't wait. BEST INDIAN IN BRISTOL.

Blue Ginger, well what can i say i spotted this restaurant on the off chance, whilst driving past and decided to take the missus for a bite to eat. We were greeted by a very professional waiter, the atmosphere was wonderful, the restaurant is finished to a very high standard almost like an art deco theme not your usual Indian. The tandoor food we ordered was the best me and my wife have ever had! and the rest of the food was equally as good. Exceptional service and high quality foods what more can you ask for. My advice try it...You won't be disappointed. Remember to take your own drinks!!!
