Nice food, good service, nice atmosphere. We have used Michael's in Thornton for the last five years and although the food is on par, the service and surroundings at Buraq was so much better. We will return

Just found this place, amazing everything 5 star , food Absolutely outstanding, the service outstanding everything perfect, we been twice now , this is the place we will be returning regularly , fantastic!!!

The MOST delicious restaurant! Food was incredible, service was lovely, value for money was great as we chose the set menu and it was gorgeous! Highly recommend and we will be visiting again and again and again!

The Sunday buffet is just fab, lots of choice and the food is so tasty . We go every opportunity we can on a Sunday. A really nice welcoming feel to the place . Would definitely recommend it.

as soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile, you have plenty of time to order your meal and not rushed, as for the meal absolutely mouth watering, this is our 3rd visit and will be definitely going again, thanks for your professionalism

Went on an extremely busy night. Staff were as quick as they could be and super friendly. Excellent service as always.

4 adults 2 kids - 18/03/23 We had the set meal for two at £36.50 which comprised of; Poppadoms served with a variety of pickles, Chicken Tikka and meat samosas served with a salad for starters, Lamb Korma and Chicken Balti as the main meal served with Pilau Rice, Saag Aloo, and Naan Bread, Finished with coffees served with cream and chocolate mints. This was not a good night at Buraq, previously not had any issues but tonite: The poppadoms were stale as if they had been there a few days. The meat samosas came out - no chicken tikka when we asked they had already started fetching the main courses out. So chicken Tikka came out with the mains. No Saag Aloo came out with the main - when asked about it they fetched it when we had finished mains. Ordered a cake and had to ask twice for it. We were not offered coffee at the end again having to ask for it. The service was poor, each time we asked about the missing items we were told “we will just check” ? Should they not know it is part of the set meal ?? Clearing the table we were asked to pass all plates and dishes to the waiter at the other end. Our table was under black mood from where there appeared to be leaks. We don’t normally complain but was quite shocked at the lack of service.

This was an excellent meal served by lovely staff, we were even given a free top up of coffee which also came with chocolate mints. If I had one criticism, it would be that the chicken was a bit overcooked.
