Really enjoyed the Biriyani and my friend the Korma. Very pleasant staff and such comfortable surroundings. The carnation on leaving is a nice touch

A most enjoyable meal in very special surroundings. The staff were most attentive and a very good selection of dishes on the menu. First visit but not last.

Reasonable food, but sevice a bit slow. Dodgy crowd there though. Some old ginger ( sorry strawberry blonde ) bloke celebrating his birthday with a strange bunch. I overheard one 'middle aged' chap tell his friend that he still lived at home and wasn't allowed to go to the world cup. Never mind though, being a pub alcohol was a plenty.

Not your normal pub grub. They have obviously made a big effort here with a wide choice of dishes available from the blackboard and very friendly staff. My chicken pasta dish was excellent and frankly not what I expected in a pub. My only quibble would be with the time it took to get served but I guess it was Good Frifay and it was chocca. . .

I didn't know what to expect when the missus took me to The Grapes.I knew the village of Wrea Green was picturesque and that the pub stood on the corner of the famous green.However i wasn't expecting the quality of food,the size of the portions or the variety of wine.One thing I think always holds true is that a restaurant that offers an extensive choice of wine by the glass is generally on top of it's game!
