Great exotic ambience, friendly service, but most importantly, every time the food is at the very least good and often excellent. In fact, the mixed starter for two is superb. For me, easily the best Chinese restaurant in town.

A lovely place to go for a special occasion. Great atmosphere and delicious food. If you're strapped for cash, they do an 'early-birds' offer which greatly reduces the cost.

Nearly four months since we last visited this Emporium of culinary delight and nice to see that nothing had changed.....But then again, with the reputation of this Restaurant it was probably foolish of us to expect anything other than excellence in all departments. We took some Pakistani friends with us this time, and hadn`t spoiled the surprise by trying to influence their judgement beforehand. Result: -- Smiles all round.

Our sushi were very nicely presented, after a slightly long wait (nearly one hour wait on a quiet evening). The sushi served are quite large and the sushi rolls were delicious. I will be going again.

Fantastic eating experience - great food & the chef will entertain you at the same time! - Highly recommended when dining with friends - not so much for a quiet, romantic 1:1 - (Prefer the former myself!!!)

The best Chinese I have ever tasted. Not only was the food first class, the service was excellent, very friendly and in a great atmosphere. I would highly recommend to all.

How do you quantify excellence? Just step inside this Restaurant and experience it for yourself and enjoy a culinary orgasm Sorry, but there`s just no other way of describing the pleasure that the food in this Restaurant brings.

A good easy atmosphere. Makes you feel welcome. Good bog standard italian food, a great place to eat.

After eating at the Snooty Fox Tavern, we decided to try their sister restaurant, the Stork. We were delighted with the food and service. Everything was cooked to order and the flavours were fabulous. Again we stayed the night as they have accommodation. Another great night out !!

Gt ambience----lovely friendly service,& nice location. A Very good venue for fish addicts----if you dont like fish,choice is a little restricted. Not cheap,however good value.A definite recommendation.

The chef has won awards for her dishes but unfortunately none of us tried her specials. Food was good though but nan breads not very good. Service was fantastic and we got free popodoms and water. No alcohol, so if you like a beer this is not your place. Place is very small, it's practically a front room. Well worth a visit. You must try the milk shakes!

I eat here once a month and am always impressed with the food, which is very imaginative tasty and unusual. The staff are always cheery and friendly and so the atmosphere is always relaxed.

This Jewel in the Crown has been hidden away for far too long. Set inside a very tastefully converted Evangelical Church within the City centre, this is no ordinary Curry House. Having travelled all over the north west over the years in search of perfection, I`ve just about found it here. The Restaurant decor has a "WOW" factor as soon as you step inside where you`ll receive a genuinely warm and friendly welcome. The tables are set spaciously with the elbow room others lack. The service is nothing less than 1st class and the menu, though not large, indicates that what they cook, they cook well. This indeed was our experience during the whole meal, with dishes that you normally think of as fairly simple, even bland, being created with the flare and imagination to make them something special and different. In a nutshell, our 100+ mile round trip on a dank miserable winters evening, was well rewarded by the best prepared and served food I`ve had in years. We had to book a table in advance and I`m not surprised, despite being full, the meal was beyond expectations, as was the service. What a pleasant change to find somewhere that was so highly recommended and yet for it to exceed even those expectations. Excellence normally comes at a price, but not here. The value for money factor is beyond belief.

A fantastic atomosphere, great food and something out of the ordinary for Lancaster and the surrounding area. Go for the Teppanyaki and try the miyabi deluxe for some tasty yet somewhat lively lobster, If you fancy something a little less expensive they have a wide selection of set banquets for you to choose from. What ever you choose the chefs will show off their culianry acrobatic skills for you!Swill it all down with some Ashai beer and to finish a little warmed sake goes down a treat.
