Amazing food and great friendly staff. Me and my husband had a lovely evening celebrating his birthday. We had the tapas and my favourite cava sangria. Would definately visit again

We went her for my daughter’s birthday, she had visited once before but I hadn’t. We will certainly be going again! We didn’t realise it was an all you can eat menu but there was lots of choice and all cooked to order so limiting waste. Very tasty food and one of the waiters was very friendly and good at his job although did say he was leaving.

We came here on 25/12/17 for Christmas dinner as a party of 8 (6 adults and 2 children). On our arrival at 1.15pm we were shown to our table where our starters promptly arrived although at this point it became apparent our table wasn't set correctly as there were no soup spoons laid out. We then had to ask to be supplied with soup spoons, to which the we were promptly provided with desert spoons as no soup spoons were available. By 1.40 pm our starters were finished and cleared away and we then waited patiently for our main courses to arrive although after 45 minutes it became apparent these weren't going to arrive any time soon so my Father in law went to search for our main courses only to be told that by the staff that they were sorry for the wait but they were just plating up our desserts!!! My father in law politely informed them that we hadn't even had our main courses served so plating up deserts was a bit premature! After an apology and another 15 min wait until 2.45pm our main courses turned up approximately 1 hour after our starters had been cleared away. The main course however was disgusting and obviously thrown together in a rush to get our order to our table after forgetting about us. The turkey was under cooked (you could tell this by the blood oozing out of various slices), the Yorkshire puddings were dry/cremated as were the roast potatoes and most of the sprouts were raw!!!!!! Those of us that chose the Christmas puddings were disappointed as when they came they were tiny little one person puddings that were really quite bland. After our table had been cleared we then waited for a member of staff to asked if we required drinks but once again we had to go and ask for these as the staff didn't appear to have any interest in approaching us. When our coffee's arrived we then didn't have spoons so once again we had to approach the waitress who promptly brought out some rather long I'm assuming ice cream spoons and threw them on the table in a pile and said "these will do!!!" When you're paying nearly £400 for a family meal you expect it to be a pleasant experience, unfortunately this was the worst dining out experience I've ever had!!!

They do not honour Bookings. Carvery is good but clearly they favour their friends & family. Don't book any special occasions, we did only to be told they didn't have the booking. Point blank that was it. What then when your family are sat there waiting?

Great food with a good atmosphere and excellent staff.

We have been buying from this shop for over 5 year. Every time food is good and service is second to none in Doncaster. We will not dream of going anywhere else.

My food was okay my grandmothers soup wasn't soup but some form of vegetable stew. When we took my two year old cousin out to play in the play park there were large pieces of glass scattered all around the climbing frame. Down right dangerous. When we told a staff member about it she took at least ten minutes to come outside and then she did nothing. The play park was covered in rubbish its disgusting.

Small but immaculate and modern. Pleasant staff and the food excellent. Cooked fresh and served with a smile. Been twice and looking forward to returning. Plus point is sell only soft drinks, so you can take your own wine or beer. Extensive menu. A little gem.

Great pub, great food, fantastic friendly family environment, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Brilliant restaurant known Nino for34 years when he first came to Doncaster.I worked for a very big company and we celebrated everything at Ninos. He knew my late son very well they first meet when my son was 10 he would have been 44 this march.

I 've been to The Sportsman last week, love the meal and great service and coming again for Xmas party .

As good as you will get.

After a disastrous spell roundabout last Christmas, the pub is back to where it was when Mark was in charge. The steak and ale pie is as good as and better than most in the area. Give them another chance if you are one of those who were so badly let down after Mark left.

Food excellent never disappoints. Tried the nur and a few others but this is the best by far. Excellent service even at busy times .... Hard to beat

In a word, rubbish. Overpriced and understandard food. Had fish served on nuclearheated steel, so dry and over done! Wife had steak which was ok but asked for rare and was served medium to well done. Better places to go.
