Four of us went for my husband's 50th birthday. The food was delicious and the service excellent. We chose 6 tapas between 2 of us, which was more than enough. We didn't take our dogs but love the fact that it is dog friendly. Great value for money and we will definitely be back.

Our first visit to Brooks but it will not be our last. Lovely food enjoyed in a great atmosphere with excellent friendly service. Interesting menu and the small dishes concept works well here. Don’t over order as it only takes about 10 minutes to get fresh dishes to you.

Wonderful to try a range of different foods from Sri Lanka with our 2 kids. The staff were really friendly & made us feel very welcome

Saw all the 5 star reviews and wanted to give this restaurant a try. All the reviews were spot on and it was excellent . Service was spot on and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Some of the nicest food we’ve had in a long time. All 6 of us in our group agreed and we can’t wait to go back!

I took my dad to Brooks for their Sri Lankan tapas and had a fantastic experience. Every dish was packed with flavour, and the balance of spices was spot on—authentic, vibrant and beautifully prepared. Our waiter was incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the dishes, advise on spice levels and even offering to adjust the heat to suit individual tastes, which was greatly appreciated. The restaurant itself has a beautiful contemporary setting, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements the food. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend Brooks to anyone looking for something a little different and full of flavour. A solid 5 stars from me!

Outstanding we have visited the Restaurant a few times and never fails to please. The food and staff are simply outstanding.

Another amazing meal enjoyed by us both. It doesn’t matter what you order it is beautiful, the food is so fresh and vibrant and tastes amazing. The Staff are really knowledgeable and friendly and the ambiance is lovely.Thanks to all especially chefs working so hard in the kitchen lm. Your work was really appreciated. We will definitely be back!

We came here for an impromptu lunch as it had been recommended to us and we cant believe we've not been here before! The mixed platter to start had crispy tempura fish and prawns, spicy chicken skewers and several other tasty elements. We also had the spicy pork curry which was as advertised but really flavoursome and a mushroom dish which again was lovely. The service was friendly and got the right balance between being attentive but not intrusive. We will be definitely coming back to try some of the other dishes!

We came for a staff night out and had a wonderful evening. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. We ordered sharing platter for starters and had a great selection of food. Then we all ordered 2 main dishes as these are smaller plates a bit like tapas. The food was so fresh and tasty !! Gorgeous. We will be back !

First time at Brooks but certainly won't be the last. The food is delicious, absolutely outstanding, service excellent and very good value for money. Could not fault anything and would highly recommend.

We were really happy to find this place. The service was amazing and the food was fantastic. We shared five small plates, plus one rice between us. Excellent choice of dishes and, as a veggie, it was great to have such a range. There is lots for meat and fish eaters too. The drinks were very reasonably priced. We shared a trio of desserts ro finish, which was just right for us. Would highly recommend.

Our first time in this restaurant and will definitely return. Warmly greeted and shown to our table when we arrived. We ordered a couple of the unusual cocktails as we browsed the menu. Pleased that there was already tap water on each table. We ordered 5 dishes between two of us plus coconut rice. Each dish was great- I would particulary recommend the baby gem lettuce leaf 'tacos'. The only slight negative is the 'trio of puddings' - for £12.50 you get 3 tiny, not even bite sizes. A normal pudding is cheaper (£7..50) and look bigger than the 3 we had put together - so won't be ordering the trio again. But all in all, would recommend.

Brooks has become our favourite place to eat in Ilkley. We did a four week holiday touring Sri Lanka and loved the food…and the people…3 years ago. Brooks brings back wonderful memories and ticks all the boxes. The food is amazing with flavours that excite, the portions are perfect and the service is 5 star.
