I have eaten with my family here for years, and the food is good all round, but especially wonderful on Sundays when they have the roast! MMMMMM!!! I recommend that everyone should try it! It is a little bit of luxury in a beautiful picturesque village. I always feel at home here.

Aroma have an 'all you can eat' menu for a set price. This is cheaper on weeknights (£13.50 I think), but it's still very reasonable all the time. The menu has a good selection and there'll be something on it for even the fussiest Chinese food eater. Obviously, at these prices you get what you pay for to some extent. The quality of the meat isn't great, with rather salty rubbery chicken and strange-coloured beef. However, the spare ribs are fantastic, but that's probably because they're deep fried (yes, really).

Read some of your reviews & gastro Leeds magazine page, super food, service great the young waitress is ever so sweet and beautiful, her recommendations were spot on(we have never tried Thai food before, definitely will v soon again, everything wonderful, shame a little quiet. 9/10 thank you Terry & Anna xxxxxxxx

Been going to this restaurant for about 10 years and have always had an excellent meal. The food is always consistently good and the owners go out of their way to give a friendly welcome. Ideal for a special occasion or just a Saturday night out with friends.

We had a cooked breakfast here (they do brunch too) before a lovely walk. Superb food, excellent friendly service from Megan who is so enthusiastic about the restaurant. We'll definitely be back soon for dinner.

This place is fantastic! We called in earlier this year and ate their superb food and drank all night, when the bill came it was only £25 !! The drinks were free, due to the fact that there was a licensing problem. We have been back many times since and we have never been disappointed. If you want a romantic meal, or a wild night, Amigos is the place to be !!

Just had a weekend away with my wife to leeds, and one place i had to try and see for myself was Akbars (The Grand) on entering Akbars on a Saturday evening about 7ish the restaurant was full to the rafters, we asked for a table for 2 and was seated almost rightaway, by a very kind waiter, within 2 minuets we had the Popodoms and the pickles on the table, with drinks served about 1 minute later, Our starter was the start of things to come, with chicken tikka for the wife, and sheek kabab for me, Lush, Main Course, Tikka Chicken with Keema meat was out of this world, never tasted anything like it before, and the wife's Chicken Bhuna was mild enough for her, what next, a Garlic Nan the size of Mini Cooper Tyre, Hot and very tasty. watching all the cooks doing their thing was something. Indian Restaurant's i've been to does'nt come as near to perfection as Akbars does. Car'nt wait to go back

Originally a take away only, the proprietor Mr Azad Mohamed was urged by his ever growing and impressed clientele to open a restaurant, which he duly did 'for bookings only' and has since opened without the need to book in advance, due to public demand. Azad has a wealth of culinary experience, creating a diverse, delicious and authentic array of dishes from the sub-continent. I have sampled Indian food the world over and this is some of the best I've eaten! the bonus for me is that it's only 3 miles from my home!! Well worth a visit or take away!!

Great place. A really authentic Thai meal which makes a change, in a lovely setting. I'd recommend the set menus especially C and D

We first tried the Shabana when my Wife and I visited from Germany last December having read reports of its opening in the local papers. We both fell for the Bangladeshi cuisine straight away. We are at the back end of this years visit to Wakefield and have eaten there three nights on the trot (pun)! Need I say more?

This is a super place - go early and get really good deals - all mains £4.95 (I think). Pizzas are great but so is everything else. Starters are generous and desserts are all homemade. Small but really good feel to it. We have been back often -say no more!

I saw this pub on a gay internet web site and decided to visit last Friday. The pub was very busy but the customers took the time to make me and my friend Iqbal very welcome. One man named "Jigsaw Charlie" spent hours regaling us with various tales and stories. I, as a gay black asian, am very limited to where I can go but "jigsaw Charlie" made this a very friendly pub. I recommend this pub to everyone, gay, straight and Chinese (ask for jigsaw Charlie!). Mohamed Al Alavabahth

Discovered this place in central Leeds with my sister - a veggie chef. We loved it! Lots of choice for veggies and vegans, sushi in abundance but also chicken, pork if you don't fancy the fish or veggie stuff. It's a must. The owner offered us some ice cream to sample - ginger and WOW! Recommended without reservation - we've been back since and will return. Enjoy!!!

This restaurant was recommended to us so whilst in Harrogate popped along to try it out. We were very impressed with the food and the standard of service. As a couple who frequently eat out this was definitely one of the best meals that we have had! We thought that the prices were reasonable as the quality of food was exceptional.

Fantastic Indian restaurant with a wide range of freshly prepared dishes. Extremely good value for money with 15% student discount on offer with valid NUS. The food is amazing and they don't rip you off with drinks which can so often be the case. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. They also offer a superb takeaway menu which can be delivered or picked up. I am definitely a regular!
