Went here on Sunday for carvery with family, was very good value for money, and the waitress we had was very nice, the beef was slightly tough and the bigger roast potatoes were slightly undercooked along with carrots, didn't try any other veg as not a big lover. the other meats were lovely which were the turkey and the lamb, not over impressed on the seating it looked like a church hall!

Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreWent here for lunch on a sunny bank holiday weekend. Food was very nice home cooked modern pub/restaurant style. No problems with service at all and the cost was very reasonable. Definitely worth a visit.
Stansfield Arms – BradfordI've just eaten at the Sukhothai on the recommendation of this site. The service was flawless. The meal was cooked with fresh, quality ingredients and the sauce was delicate and well balanced. We sat down at 7pm, at which point the restaurant was empty. When we left it was at capacity-on a Tuesday night. With starters and a main course for two people and three bottles of water, the meal came to £22. Lovely.
Sukhothai Restaurant – Chapel Allerton – Chapel AllertonExtremely enjoyable evening had last Saturday. Food was delicious, excellent pauses between courses , friendly staff and £65 between two for 3-course + bottle of wine was v. good value.
Cafe Marinetti – HorsforthJust been for the first time after reading the recommendations on Sugarvine! The food was absolutely lovely and I really would recommend you go. Make sure you book before you go.
Dos Amigos – HeadingleyThis Michelin starred restaurant is in a beautiful old building in the tiny village of Ramsgill in Nidderdale. It's an ideal place for a very special occasion - I went there at the weekend to celebrate my birthday. The food is just out of this world - one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The main course of Nidderdale lamb was unforgettable. The service was very good - I would have marked it excellent but for the fact that no-one asked us if we wanted more drinks with our meal when our glasses were clearly almost empty. If you want somewhere special - or you are out to seriously impress someone - then this is the place for you!
Yorke Arms – HarrogateThis is the best Thai restaurant in Leeds, without a doubt. All the dishes are really tasty and I have never had a bad meal there!
Sukhothai Restaurant – Chapel Allerton – Chapel AllertonExcellent. Curry is my favourite food and I make an effort to try as many Indian restaurants as possible. I always end up back at Akbars. I have never had a bad meal there!
Akbars Balti Restaurant – BradfordThis restaurant is nothing out of the ordinary. The food appears plastic but good for children.
Chiquito Restaurant and Bar – BatleyGreat for an evening out to eat, and the salsa classes were great but believe they are moving to another venue around the corner as they were getting really busy (and the floor is pretty dicey in La Tasca... don't wear high heels ladies!)
La Tasca – Leeds City CentreA real change to find a city centre bar serving quality fresh food. Homemade Fat Chips, real homemade burgers and freshly battered fish. Was a real surprise, such attention to detail & probably the best river view in the city. Chilled-out, cool bar. Definitely recommended.
Aire Bar – Leeds City Centrequality was good and the portions were larger than expected! Friendly staff didnt rush you to finish
La Bella Vita – Garforthit is always busy here, but that adds to the atmosphere. the service is very good and the menu is varied and reasonably priced.
La Tasca – Leeds City CentreAs always, delicious food. No singer but my friend assures me he will be returning (she called them to ask when he will be back!) This will give us another excuse to return!! Can't wait.
Chaophraya – Leeds City CentreThe Emmotts is a really nice local pub with lots of friendly regulars, the managers are never around and the bar staff seem to run the place. The pub is in desperate need of a refurb so come on Samuel smiths sort it out please!!!! The cost of the food is quite expensive and not great but the beer and other drinks are very cheap.

Habibs – BradfordThis establishment is now known as the Nawaab Khan Restaurant and very, very good it is too. Family run with Sajid at the helm, the food is quite superb. I ate fish pakora starter and chicken nihari with pilau rice for main course. Everything was top class and was well worth my visit. I shall be going back for my birthday party.
