Great little restaurant in Yeadon on the way out of Leeds. Friendly owner and a good looking place. My meal was very nice and filling. Recommended!

All you can eat buffet for £9.95 plenty of choiceAll good, includes mixed starter, popadoms ,pickle tray freshly made naans and complementary drink at end of meal.Never had a bad experience there, friendly helpful staff

They have dropped the pensioner special so you have to pay more. Have they also dropped gluten free if so will not be going there again.

Went on Friday night with my wife Sarah. The good reviews are wholly justified. The beer was well kept, the service friendly andthe food way above ordinary pub grub. It was fresh, tasty and innovative. This is a real gem.

We visited Rice as a passing visitor. The waitress was immediately warm and welcoming and seated us In seconds. The drinks order was taken and very soon we were sipping away perusing our menu. Unlike many, we were not hassled to order whilst still deciding, the waiters choosing to wait until we had finished looking an had closed the menu. As a Slimming World Consultant I love a menu to be self explanatory of the ingredients enabling me to make tasty AND healthy choices. This was indeed the case, and moreso a dish was named 'A Healthy Option' and it really was! This I selected....and was extremely impressed with the fabulous curry that was served to me. Despite not living locally, having experienced fab food and even better customer service.....I would venture over to Yeadon again to sample alternatives from this tasty menu Definitely impressed :-)

this is not a review,my grandmother was an Emmott from Yeadon, apparently connected to the Emmott Arms, she came to Australia in 1913, do you have any access to the history of the Emmott Arms, Thank you for reading this and hope for your reply cheers Jill Webb

We went to Rice in Yeadon last night and it was the best curry we have had in years, the service was great, good value tasty fresh food at a great price it will now be our favourite place to eat and get takeaways. The place is so busy so you will need to book a table. ENJOY!!!

My family visit this establishment a couple of times per month, the food is delicious and the service is fantastic, I think it is two young sisters who serve on a Friday and they are funny as well as good waitresses.

don't have the curry sauce as its given me a really upset tummy, I've had the shits fot 3 days

Absolutely appalling service and food .

These are absolutely the best fish & chips in Yorkshire. My family & I have been many times over the past few years and the standard and quality never falters. The staff are always very pleasant & helpful and the service speedy & efficient. There is frequently a queue but it always moves pretty quickly and its well worth waiting for (there are bar stools for those who cannot stand for long). My mum finds the pensioners special meal fantastic value, 3 courses, tea, bread & butter, which would satisfy even the most ravenous person.

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST FISH AND CHIP EMPORIUM IN YORKSHIRE. THE FOOD IS ALWAYS FIRST CLASS WITH A WIDE CHOICE OF MENU. THE RESTAURANT ITSELF IS VERY PLEASANT AND THE STAFF ARE SUPERB. WE HAVE BEEN GOING FOR YEARS AND IT IS ALWAYS THE SAME EXCELLENT STANDARD. iT IS A PLEASURE TO VISIT SUCH A NICE ESTABLISHMENT, AND WE CAN RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.

Great news! The Emmott's now has new management. Still cheap quality drinks and food. Ideal at a time when there is a financial depression. The emmott's is a great traditional pub and well worth a visit. If your local and have never been in before then I recommend you visit especially now its got new management.

four of us had a meal and a round of drinks for less than £29 great value

as a student you can not beat the prices at the emmott arms. However wine and spirits are tad pricey the lager is unbeatable on price! The staff are extremely helpful and always cheer the place. They do seem to run it as the managers are never seen. All in all a flippin' ace pub for us students and the locals are some of the funniest people you will ever meet!

We have had a Sunday lunch and also we have been to a Dinner dance which is held once a month on a saturday night to food was outstanding and the tables were set with lovely laundered table cloths.
