We had a fantastic evening at the dove. Service was fantastic friendly efficient staff couldn't do enough for us. Our meal was delicious and very filling we both had flatbreads. With a side of onion rings. Could not fault anything. Also excellent value for money. Will be back soon.

Excellent evening food and service amazing

Lovely Sunday dinner, I had beef my husband had the lamb shank. Pudding were lovely too, I had blackcurrant cheesecake and my hubby had apple crumble with custard.

It was alright. Honestly, I was expecting more... I came to this place because of trip advisor recommendations and it is listed as like the 7th best place to eat in Leicester. My expectations were high! The atmosphere is good, the place is nice and comforting and the food is ok but there is nothing outstanding about the food in my opinion. I had 3 sharers of small plates and a beer batter fish and chips. It was good, but I really was after a "wow, that is amazing!" type experience from the food which I just didn't get. overall 4/5. its decent but its nothing special in my opinion.

Superb- a real surprise, great family home atmosphere, attentive on the spot service ane great food. This is a little gem and Im sure will become a regular haunt for us, it really is very special

Thoroughly enjoyed our meals last night at The Dove. Excellent service and food was lovely. It was the first time here for 4/5 of us. We will definitely go again for our work colleagues night out. We also took the details for our works Christmas meal . Thank you

Excellent as always

Have found on three occasions the food to be of a high standard, but On the third visit the roast potatoes were so salty we had to leave them.

Had Sunday lunch on 10.9.23 for first time - not fantastic. Pink beef best I’ve tasted in a long time however Yorkies were presumably frozen type, the roast potatoes were ok if you could get through the skin. They obviously had been cooked and then reheated which went for the parsnips. The broccoli cooked to perfection and the carrots over cooked - overall I don’t think I would return for Sunday lunch without improvements - sorry.

After living in the area for the past 3 years and within 3 minutes walk, my wife and I visited for Sunday lunch for the first time. This was a spontaneous booking and great that you were able to accommodate. The experience was great with friendly service and food at great prices. I asked the waitress to pass on our compliments to the chef. We will be visiting again and when the family visit with the grandchildren.
