The salt and pepper starter was devine. We shared one and that was enough. We both had skewer meals. The cajun chicken and the prawn and chorizo. Both were tasty and filling. If anything the service at the start could have been a tad quicker. Waited half an hour to order food. Overall that didnt stop us having a great food/dining experience.

Menu varied and food absolutely delicious. Cocktails great too! Very reasonably priced for the service and food on offer. We are real foodies and very glad we’ve found this place. Can’t wait to come back!

The Dove Pub and Kitchen – LeicesterHave had a few meals at The Dove and been very pleased with the quality every time however, Sunday I was very disappointed with mine & a few of my family members meals. My grandson is 4, we chose the roast chicken dinner for him. The broccoli portion was too big for him & under cooked as well as the chicken was on the bone…….he’s 4 surely a child’s meal should be ‘chicken breast?’ I had to supervise him throughout the meal to make sure he didn’t choke on a bone, in the end I took the chicken off his plate! My meal wasn’t much better, 2 bits of chicken…..a leg & a wing, roast potatoes were over cooked & the veg was burnt!! My nieces had the ‘OG burger & there was more batter than chicken. Very disappointed and based on Sundays meals would not recommend eating there!!
