Came a few weeks ago. Really nice pub and very friendly landlord who took time to go through the necessary C19 precautions with us. Because of this customers were only able to use the garden but this was fine as the tables were set up with social distance in mind. Orders were taken at and food / drink was brought to the table in a very efficient manner. Due to C19 the menu was limited but the ciabattas we had were very enjoyable. Yes would recommend this place for a nice pleasant drink.

Excellent tucker in a very covid-safe environment. Will go again for lunch al fresco, and good beer: one of us particularly liked the Shipyard.

We had a drink here on Sunday. Lovely surroundings very relaxing and very safely delivered. Cannot comment on the food as we did not eat here but it looked good. Can recommend.

We booked in for a meal on Friday 13th March at 6.30pm.. The restaurant was very busy with all tables taken downstairs by 7pm. The service was excellent with no delays. The food was also excellent. We chose arriabiata meatballs and the chicken dish. The only slight down part of the evening was the smell from the kitchen. We both could smell the food on our clothes the next morning and the toilets could do with a refurb. And a good clean. A small price to pay for an excellent meal.

Amazing service, quality food. Best Italian restaurant in Leicester. I will definitely comeback to this place.

Excellent as usual although mega busy with it being valentine day the personal service and attention was still evident and much appreciated will not hesitate to return for a freshly cooked meal full

Fantastic new years eve meal. Food was delicious and the service and welcome was brilliant. Would definitely recommend. We will be going back soon.

Just purchased a large cod at Frydales and very disappointed. The fish had a very high smell mingled with a smell of ammonia. on opening it up the smell was sickening and the fish flesh was a yellowy colour. My adult son took one mouthful and spat it out as the taste was vile. You had better check your stocks. I have had fish and chips here on several occasions which has been good but this has put me off recomending this shop again. I would have bought the fish back but taxi fares are not cheap.

Placed order at 7 was told 45 mins for collection, was there and had to wait another 20 mins on top (as they said there delivery driver had an accident) fail to see how that affected a collection, once home the food order was wrong, called and was given poor excuses and had to return to get a refund as they said to replace it would take another 40 mins, has severely gone down hill since last year, will never return.

Great atmosphere,great food ,great service.Had my sons party here and everything went so well,presentation was extremely amazing. The manager Azi was so helpful and arranged everything ,5 out of 5 a must try.

I visited the detox shack for the first time on Tuesday. The food was delicious, wholesome and really fresh. The service was also excellent. I would recommend a visit.

You need to go and try the food it's best restaurant in Leicester friendly staff and very good food.

The food was very bland, spaghetti carbonora was mediocre at best, I have cooked better myself and have little to no training in food. The other meal, pollo pepperanara was an absolute discrace, it was literally a chicken breast covered in a tin of chopped tomatos with a few peppers thrown in, honestly zero flavor whatsoever. The service was bad, we never got asked if everything was fine with the meal (come on guys even the weatherspoons pubs manage this), bare in mind we were the only people in there and there were 2-3 members of staff just stood around, plus they forgot to write our order down therefore we had to ask three times for the bill. Why not just come over and be honest about the mistake, rather than make us wait 20mins then tell us, the order wasnt going to magically re-write itself you are seriously just wasting my time now. The decore was old and dated but I really don't mind that, all I ask for is decent food and service, we got none. Price is average, It's not expensive but you can eat in much better places for the same price.
