As always, excellent food and great service. Can’t argue with the cost either. Burgers are a great bet but the hi-light is the onion straws. A cracking side order. Highly recommended.

Huckleberrys Bar & Grill – LincolnLovely place and great food and atmosphere. It’s so good this is our second time and we will definitely be back again.
Huckleberrys Bar & Grill – LincolnVery good food and the service is fantastically friendly. When we visited, unfortunately one of the chefs suffered a medical emergency but the staff kept composed and dealt with it brilliantly - Ellie specifically.
Huckleberrys Bar & Grill – LincolnOne of the best meals I have ever had . Beautiful ❤️
Blest Curry – LincolnReally lovely meal. Fresh food, attentive staff and loads of choice. We will be going again.
Blest Curry – LincolnIt was great, I came in after a Friday night out in the town. Staff were attentive and drinks service was relatively fast. We opted for the buffet, the food was great in comparison to other buffets, it was fresh and flavourful. The curries were lovely and the meat was tender- lots of variety to chose from. Staff were friendly and the owner was lovely, he brought out fresh dishes for us to try. I will definitely be back again.
Blest Curry – LincolnOh dear. Went for Sunday lunch buffet. Shown to a table and we were. Off to a good start with the correct drinks order. The staff member told us to help ourselves to the buffet , in fact three staff members came and told us to help ourselves, BUT there was no food in any of the dishes, apart from pickles! We were brought out some poppadoms and pickles, then about 50 more poppadoms appeared, but still no food. After nearly 35 minutes the food started to trickle out. What came out was microwaved, I could see into the kitchen from where I was sitting. The food was cold on the inside , tepid outside and not very good. When more curries arrived they were only ok and not very good. After an hour not all the dishes were out. Not good value at £13.99. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing, or what the dishes actually we're. One said the chicken jalfrezei was lamb. All a bit of a let down. I know this has only just opened, but that should have meant everything was perfect, but has a long, long way to go before it comes up to scratch. Please turn the music down, it was deafening, far too loud to have a conversation or think.
Blest Curry – LincolnI should have mentioned in my previous review how professional , friendly and helpful the bar staff were, both to ourselves and to all other customers. What a pity they are so let down by the kitchen.
The Old Angel Inn – LincolnI today had lunch at this village pub and opted for sausage and mash with onion gravy at a cost of £6.95. The pub is situated opposite a first class butcher who makes the most excellent Lincolnshire sausage. It may well be my taste in food but I honestly believe that this was the worst meal I have ever eaten out. I would suspect that the food is purchased from a local cash and carry. The sausages I suspect were made from mechanically recovered meat and had very little taste. I don't believe the onion gravy had recently seen a fresh onion and would not be surprised if it was made from a powdered mix. Regrettably I could not recommend eating there but it was certainly a new experience if that is what you are looking for. Don't take my word for it, ask around.
The Old Angel Inn – LincolnDo not go here. took them long enough to take our order let alone serve our food. Took well over an hour for our food to arrive with no warning or apology. One of our party left because it was taking that long and they refused to let me leave until I paid for his food, blocking me from leaving the restaurant for ten minutes whilst they ignored the rest of their grumpy customers. When the food arrived it was poor quality, incredibly mild (despite asking for medium/hot) and lacking any real flavour. I love Indian food and living in London often go to tooting which is the hidden home of curry. I can only recommend that you try everywhere to get a table before heading here.
The Bombay Restaurant – LincolnReally good top draw fish and chips. Clean premises, tasty food, friendly polite staff. Always go if I'm ever staying in the village. Live 12 miles away in the city of Lincoln and have in the past made the 24 mile round trip for there food!
Welbourne’s Fish and Chip Shop – LincolnWhat a fabulously relaxing place to be in if you need to escape the pressures of this world. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
Branston Hall Hotel – LincolnKedgeree Too holds a Fish and Chip Quality Award from the National Federation of Fish Friers. It is one of only a handful of shops around the country to have this award. You can be confident of the quality of the product and the service at this shop
Kedgeree Too – LincolnA very clean and friendly restaurant. Well patronised both as restaurant and take-away. Food well presented. Meat a little on the dry side for my liking, but the accompanying sauces made up for this - very flavoursome. Overall a good value for money venue.
Agra Tandoori – LincolnFirst class, good value, good quality, unpretentious food in a typical country pub setting. Great for family Sunday lunch or just a quiet early meal on your own with a good book and a G&T, and all points in between.
The Royal Oak – Lincoln
