Good quality basic English cooking at its best. The duckling is very good. Excellent service, friendly and welcoming. Good for bar food or the restaurant, (slightly more expensive but good value). Can highly recommend. Fantastic views from the restaurant of the Ribble Valley.

The building is stunning, a lovely long driveway. The house is set in beautiful grounds, which are well maintained. (The rubble mentioned by the previous reviewer is now a tasteful extension for functions!). Inside the decor is traditional but tasteful. It's been recently renovated and the bar area is very cosy. The menu was extensive and all of our party were very pleased with their food. My lamb loin was perfectly cooked. The bread and butter pudding made with panetone was heavenly! The wine list is also excellent and the staff were happy to recommend a good wine to go with our meal. This restaurant is ideal for a special occasion and I'd highly recommend a visit!

It was fun and I love the food and my family like it. I've not been there for a long time. I miss the food. I like the pizzas they were excellent. I would go there again.

Lovely Spot. Very friendly staff. Only been open a few months, very enjoyable every time I have been. Menu changes every month. Well worth a visit.

An excellent venue for food and drinks, the staff look after your every need and nothing is too much trouble. Miss this restaurant out and you are missing out on quality food, quality service and excellent prices.
