Loved our first visit to Bistro Ma Grada. At last, Lymm has a really good restaurant in the heart of the village! We were welcomed warmly and shown to our table. The menu is not extensive but imaginative and enticing. My husband had the scallops to start and I had the beetroot and goats cheese tart which was the best I have ever had. For mains I had the seabass and my husband the lamp which was huge but infinitely better than what he had some time ago at The Church Green. The chocolate tart with orange sorbet is out of this world. All in all the food at Ma Grada is superb. Service was friendly but needs polishing. We had to ask for napkins when the first course was served and serving spoons for the vegetables. I was given just a spoon for my pudding but it needed a fork too. I mentioned this to the charming manager on leaving as people of the next table to us also struggled without a fork for their pudding. Apart from this we had a lovely evening with superb food, beautifully cooked and presented. We will definitely be back.

My first visit to Magrada last night with friends, one of which lives in Lymm and who had been before. Wow, what a meal, best I've had in a long time, we likened our experience to being on masterchef! Not overwhelmed with choice on the menu, all courses delicious and presented beautifully, good choice of wines and drinks, staff attentive and friendly and great value for money. Couldnt fault a thing. Won't hesitate in recommending this gem and will definitely return ...

Excellent night out. Food was delicious and hot, beautifully presented, a nice selection of wines, good service and plenty of atmosphere. My only criticism was the cheesecake dessert was the tiniest slice I have ever seen and to charge £8 for it was outrageous especially when the chocolate tart was a perfect size and a satisfying end to a meal.

My friend and I had an excellent meal here yesterday lunch time. This was our third visit and we were not disappointed. The steak pie 'Special' really was that - just sublime! Fabulous surroundings and super friendly staff always make our visits an enjoyable experience and one we shall be repeating. Highly recommend!

Our first visit to Magrada and we weren’t disappointed! We received a very warm welcome from our host Anthony, who was very attentive and friendly throughout the evening, providing great service with a professional but friendly approach. The food was delicious and presented to such a high standard(something like Masterchef!)with all the dishes having interesting combinations & twists. We will definitely be dining at Magrada again and look forward to trying the breakfast and lunch menus as well. A true gem in Lymm, highly recommended! Well done Magrada!

We visited M'agrada bistro last night for the Valentines menu. We were greeted by a friendly waitress with a glass of champagne. Our table was near the door but she kindly moved us to a booth as we wanted to be further inside. The bistro was tastefully decorated for Valentines day and the atmosphere was romantic. The food was gorgeous (especially the lamb) the monk fish was cooked perfectly and they had some delicious specials on the board too. Service was fast and friendly with a sound wine recommendation to go with our meal. We will definitely be back soon for another special treat.
