I found the food a bit fancy - Iam more of an egg and chips man myself. However the ambience was great -ideal for wining and dining my B&B landlady

we recently visited the wizard are were so pleased we found it! we had one of the best meals we have had for a very long time in an area which seems to be dominated by-middle-of-the-road Italian or Italianesque eateries. The staff were very charming and polite and nothing seemed too much trouble. We had some great scallops and duck spring rolls for starters followed by a barrel fillet steak that melted in the mouth with a lovely cheesy mushroom sauce & good creamy mash. The Seabass was also excellent and obviously very fresh with some tender local asparagus. The puddings were "to die for" - the best brownie i've ever had - and i've had a few! and a really good brulee rounded off our meal - all washed down with some very good house wines - altogether an excellent meal! we booked again while we were there and intend to return regularly. Keep up the good word Wizard and we will spread the word to those we think worthy!!

We've eaten here many times and it knocks other Macclesfield Thai restaurants for 6 when it comes to quality of food, friendliness of staff and even price. Overall, one of Macclesfield's best restaurants. Way ahead of the Chilli Banana on all criteria (though the CB does have a nicer building)

I recently visited the Windmill Inn and had an excellent meal. The food was prepared to the highest standard. A thoroughly enjoyable evening!

Best Indian Restaurant, I have been to and as I?e had dated an Indian for 3years, I have been to a wide selection of different restaurants not only in Cheshire but in London... I? a regular there, and the guys are great!

I go to the shalimar on a regular basis, i always tell people why i go to no other curry house because of the value for money, the great service, the relaxing atmosphere and i recommend trying their Peshwari naans.

This is a great Indian restaurant as good as the ones on the curry mile in Manchester if not better.

Had an very good lunch. The Roast Pork was delicious - meat was plentiful and tender although there was perhaps not enough of the tasty crackling; vegetables were perfectly cooked and the gravy was rich and clearly homemade. Well kept Robinsons beer too.

The Davenport arms is an amazing restaurant it has the highest quality of food at lowish prices the waitress' are very helpful but no over helpful the time we waited for our food was not long and also the food is made fresh and has a very large menu and has different eating areas

Fantastic food and service actually a better than the original place in Wilmslow. You can't fault the food for to notch quality. We have been once or twice a month since it opened for all kinds of occasions. Nice surroundings add to the whole experience. Highly recommend you visit if you can get a table that is. Book early to avoid disappointment!

Great place to eat either as a twosome or a party/group. Food choice brill. The owner always welcomes you with a smile. My favourite place to eat.....

The coffee tavern is a most excellent venue to enjoy a deliciously cooked hot meal and served with great feeling from Helen I can only await my next visit with eager anticipation.......

When it first reopened, we went the first week and the food was superb we have gone back 3 to 4 times since and noticed standards slipping if it can get back to them first few weeks standards then this is a little gem of a place to eat we will not give up on it yet and will go back

The food was one of the best Chinese I have had and the service was extremely good, the staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful even though it was a very busy night. The best Chinese restaurant and takeaway in England!

Deli Garden is one of the best restaurants ive ever been to. The friendly atmosphere, helpful staff and best of all the out-standing food better than china town. I will definitely go there again in the future

We have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The staff are always welcoming and the food is well cooked and presented. It's a little like eating in someone's house but that all adds to the experience in my opinion. Much better value than the Chilli Banana.
