Absolutely loved this place. So chilled and relaxed. The food was delicious, freshest olives I've ever had!!Our waiter was the nicest guy you'll ever meet! Its a lovely family restaurant. It was my son's 10th birthday and he was talking to him and interacting with him (within covid safety margin of course) At the end of our meal they brought out a huge slice of caramel and toffee cake with a candle whilst singing happy birthday for my son! Definitely going again

Great service and good quality food. Great value for money overall but especially with the drinks during happy hour. Would definitely recommend and will be back again

Another fantastic visit - we love the food, always so tasty and great to have something a bit different too. We loved the meaty mezze board to share after some really tasty starters. Felt very Covid safe and the atmosphere and place is lovely, but best of all it's such a friendly welcoming place - thanks so much to Stuart and the team. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Chakalaka.

I love this restaurant and visit at least once every time I’m in Manchester. Always a warm welcome and the food is fantastic: khachapury, borscht, lconac smbuk, khorovadz, aubergine rolls - my list of favourites gets ever longer!! And just when you think you are full along comes the honey cake and Armenian coffee..... Time for another visit I think!!

A charming family run taverna offering a wide range of traditional dishes with superb and personable service. Fantastic and authentic decor. Will definitely visit again.

We first visited the Armenian Taverna ages ago and kept meaning to go back. We finally did and won't be waiting so long to return. The food was delicious. The wine was lovely and the service was outstanding. This is easily one of the best restaurants in Manchester. I can't recommend it enough.

My favourite restaurant in Manchester. Food and service have always been excellent after about a dozen visits so far now.

I’ve been here three times now and I absolutely love it. The food is phenomenal and bursting full of flavour, the wines are excellent and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Very good value for money as well. I cannot recommend it enough. Without a doubt my favourite restaurant in Manchester.

Love Lebanese food and Comptoir was excellent. Good service, tasty food in a bright contemporary enviroment!

We had a wonderful meal on Saturday night at Chakalaka. A truly traditional South African menu with all the treats from back home. The biltong starter was delicious and the chilli bites second to non. My husband had the Bunny Chow for main and I had a curry. Both were lovely and spicy with a decent portion size. The staff were really friendly and we had a lovely evening We will most certainly be back.
