Nice atmosphere and service. This is my local and I've noticed it never smells like stale beer or a gent's toilet unlike Hillary Step next door or the otherwise fantastic Carlton Club down the road: here, they offer interesting spirit combinations on request and, as a cider drinker myself, there's usually an option for me. The crowd is usually friendly without undesirable come ons. While it feels very LGBT friendly, I have met both anti and pro trans folk here, but such is life. Spacious seating and interesting decor with two outdoor options, one directly in the sunlight until evening until the spring and summer late evenings, the other providing cover from the rain for smokers or outdoor loners.

Love this place. Great arts , culture and film, good food and even the real ale was well kept. A pleasure to watch a film in a cinema with a nice beer!

I took my staff here for lunch on Thursday, We were all very impressed by the quality of food, which tasted really good. The Cafe staff were extremely helpful and very customer friendly, and the premises were spotlessly clean! Well done to the new owners,and the staff. We will return.!!!

This place is a minute walk away...I will spend all my money here no doubt. Fantastic food and great service.

Since the previous owner Ahmed as gone I`ve noticed the standards of a breakfast has gone downhill with the new owners. i.e you get cold beans.

Been going in here for a long time now. Always have a good mea,l staff in morning are great and Ahmed the owner is so polite and helpful. Sarah and Leana are so nice you can have a laugh with them. I can recommend this deli the price of the food is cheap and food is good quality and the place is clean.

I have been in for the first time today, the young ladies were so polite, the place was clean and food good value for money. I will be back

The food wasn't pleasant, the staff seemed to be rushed as they were not enough people to number of customers. To be honest the cake they sold was nice but wouldn't recommend it.

The Banyan Tree is a fantastic restaurant. I've eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner there and it is lovely. The decor is beautiful. It's casual and sophisticated at the same time. Very reasonably priced, and extremely good quality food. I would recommend it for everyone!

Joins Jam St and Hillary Step as my 'local' and I'm not convinced to be honest. Too much high space inside, it's not intimate enough. Poor selection of draught beers compared to the excellent Hillary Step, the only export strength offering is Krombacher which is notorious for bad hangovers. And what's with the X Factor nights? Don't we go to the pub to GET AWAY from the X Factor? Popular hang out for the Chorlton lesbians, which I don't have a problem with, but it's a notable feature of the establishment so let's not avoid the fact. Aside from the extra drinking space, it doesn't offer the regular pub-goer anything that Hillary Step and Jam St doesn't.

BUZZROCKS Been to south side shop now one on the north MOSTON LANE... Jerk Chicken and rice peas YUMMY..... Large portions and the CHEF BUZZROCKS himself is a legend.... Check it out I Have seen the actors from Shameless and Ian Brown plus Finlay Quaye All the loving the food great place to hang out... Or take food home

Buzzrocks is the best Caribbean takeaway i have eat in! really friendly atmosphere and pleasant staff. The food is of top quality and really large portions. Excellent takeaway...... my favourite by far

We've been going to M&M's for years and find Mike and Maureen very nice people. The food is always a delight. We have also used them to cater a couple of dinner parties for us and they always give extra help on the instructions for when we get home. Just a shame that we don't live closer.

A slightly bizarre little place - it is basically a converted terrace. Mainly seems to be used as a takeaway, but you can sit down amongst the reggae if you wish. Pretty rough and ready, but decent food at very modest prices.

Food is fantastic. Hidden away on a quiet street. The staff are quite friendly, a bit more of a smile would make this eatery all the more outstanding.
