Papa G’S Grill and Bar – The Printworksvery nice food and good service as well, could have larger portions thought!
Old Orleans – The PrintworksAn amazing place. Great home cooked food, great staff, lovely environment. Went here for lunch with friends and had a great time. The food was spot on and the service was excellent. The Crepes and homemade Tiramisu are a must!!!
Papa G’S Grill and Bar – The PrintworksAttentive staff, great atmosphere, lovely food... cannot really fault it. There are aspects which I suppose could put people off, for example (as explained on the menu), "as we want to ensure the freshness of your food, some dishes may arrive before others... the aim is, don't wait, just tuck in and share... enjoy the Wagamama experience." That said, however... this really is part of the experience, and in no way is it a case of being rushed in and rushed out, as I've read elsewhere online. Plus, you rarely have to wait more than a few seconds to be seated, and ordering is dead easy as everything is numbered on the menu. The drinks menu is a little limited, I found, but overall there really isn't a bad thing which can be said about the place. The prices may seem a little steep on first glances, but the portions are huge and the food really is delicious. Last time we visited, our server had trouble totting up our bill as a few things had been jotted down wrong, which they acknowledged and knocked a few quid off... plus we spotted a couple of famous faces amongst the diners. Oh, and one last thing... if you struggle with the chopsticks, do not be afraid to ask for a fork!
Wagamama – The Printworksrestaurant was a joke not even busy and the service was terrible is it normal to wait 35 mins for a veggie burger?? i thought not but according to the manager it is normal in this place , very poor customer service
Old Orleans – The PrintworksGreat place to go with a party - brilliant atmosphere and the staff always go out of their way to ensure you have a good time. Try the Cheesecake - the waiter recommended it and true to his word it was amazing!!
Old Orleans – The PrintworksI love this place and the concept. the venue is funky, fresh and clean just like the food!
Wagamama – The PrintworksVery good food but every time I've been there I always come away feeling like I've paid too much, no matter how good the food was, it's still just food.
Old Orleans – The Printworkswe always go here on special occasions for two things a) the atmosphere and b) the food. the staff are helpful and friendly and the food is amazing. well worth a visit
Old Orleans – The Printworksfantastic place to go for a spot of dinner,my wife and i will definatly be back,
Wagamama – The Printworksthe place was very dark and you could not see the menu clearly, there were crayons and pennies on the table from the people befor us . when the meal came it was very nice but you didnt see what you were eating ,
Old Orleans – The PrintworksI absolutely loved this place. it is one of the best restaurants in town. The food can be quite pricey but what you get is superb. There is plenty to choose from.
Old Orleans – The PrintworksAs I grew up in North America I went in expecting the same old mediocre attempt at "American" cuisine but I can honestly say this tasted absolutely delicious! Bit pricey for a burger (9 quid) but you get what you pay for I suppose. Would definitely go back
Old Orleans – The PrintworksGreat concept for a restaurant. One you must try!
Wagamama – The PrintworksHey! I've been to the Wagamama only once, but I'll definetly go there again. Even my parents liked the atmosphere-it's stylish and looks a little bit like a university refectory- but that's perfect. The guests don't spend to much time to sit around after there meal-that seems to be part of the concept which is great as there can be a long queue. We had about 20 people standing in front of us it we only waited 5 minutes. The service is quick- food is served when it's ready and it comes immediately- so one might have to wait longer than the others, but it's fresh. I had Ramen noodles with chicken and coriander- it' was just delicious!! The noodles were good, the chicken was crispy and the coriander was fresh. Sorry- I can't remember the price for it. But as a student you get a discount on the bill (only food i guess) before 7 pm. It's worth it!! I'm going to buy a t-shirt there aswell one day! Go there and try- you'll love it if you like chinese, thai or indian food. Enjoy! mieke
