Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeFood was lovely but the service was excellent
Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeWe have visited this pub numerous times over the years and it never fails to deliver great food and service. We visited most recently last Thursday and took the opportunity to try the seniors and light lunch menu. We both went for the bnsket pie which didn't disappoint ,followed by an absolutely delicious apple crumble . The cost for two courses was £14 and so excellent value for money. I would add that the serving staff here are exemplary, always friendly and engaging. So if you ever want to impress someone with nice surroundings, decor, delicious food and great service all for a reasonable price, then you would go wrong in taking them here.
Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeNever disappoints! Lovely mid week meal having my favourite brisket pie with chunky chips and extra gravy. Lovely surroundings and welcoming staff .

Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeDined here yesterday and chose the sea bass. Really couldn’t fault it - absolutely delicious! Service was very good and very pleasant. One of the party was lactose intolerant and well catered for, as well. The dining room was nicely full, but not overwhelming.
Waggon and Horses – StalybridgeWe, a party of 7, visited the Waggon & Horses on Saturday the 11th July, we were welcomed by a very friendly member of staff and after a drink in the bar we were shown to our table. The food we ordered, consisted of burgers, shredded salt and pepper chicken flat bread - my son loved it - lasagna, Seabass and the jambalaya, all were really good portion sizes and tasty, definitely recommend look forward to our next visit.
