How can this place justified charging me over 7 pounds for 2 toast 2 eggs a tiny amount of beans and a cup of tea? This place is disgraceful, the service was not the best and the amount I got charged was shameful.

Good wholesome Portuguese dishes freshly cooked to choose from, friendly bi-lingual service, wine list and proper cafe espresso! Great value find, with parking too.

The worst Indian food I have ever ate in whole of UK in last ten years. The curries were half cooked and were still smelling defrosted frozen taste and I could only eat one bite and threw whole lot away. If there was zero rating I would give that to this restaurant. Biryani was crappy too. Never ever again in my whole life I will step into this restaurant. A blot on Indian restaurants in London. I would recommend people to never go there.

Absolutely a disgrace of a restaurant. No acknowledgement by the staff of us entering or leaving the restaurant. The tables were dirty with grease and chutney dishes were dirty and used by previous customers. All staff were too busy chatting on mobiles ! We decided to leave and eat elsewhere .

I ordered a portion of currygoat and rice and peas with salad which is my favourite caribbean dish. The meat was tender and well cooked and the smell of the spices was to die for! I felt the meal was good value for money and really filled me up. The chef was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

Three stars...I had food last weekend and the food tasted fairly OK but not really to my expectation. The Mango Lassi was good but sadly Naan was very thick which disappointed me. The Panner curry and Baingan sabji was fairly OK.Service was fast and the waiters are very attentive.

In 20 years of eating Pakistani food and having been to Pakistan a few times, i have never tasted Paratha like the ones served with the kebabs in taste of Lahore Hounslow. They are dry to the touch yet full of the taste of butter a little like a flaky pastry. The best paratha i have ever tasted. The methi Ghosht is also first class as is the Chana Masala. It gets a little draughty if sitting by the door but the service is great.

Being very picky and used to having Chinese food in china town/ Hong Kong (they have very high standards/ quality), I found the Empire Chinese Restaurant in Hounslow. The restaurant is nicely decorated inside and looks a little expensive to be honest but I still dared to try it out. Although the restaurant was surprisingly empty (probably because it looks expensive) the quality of the food was amazing when compared with the other Hounslow Chinese restaurants (one time I had crispy duck and another time I had oriental fried rice). The service was fabulous, literally felt like I went to a very high class restaurant and when the bill came, it was shockingly cheap as I thought usually the quality of the food reflects the price of them. As I have fallen in love with this restaurant I don’t need to go back to china town for food because the standards are pretty much equivalent if not better. This restaurant really puts the other Chinese takeaways or restaurants to shame. And the most important thing is that they deliver!!
