Great meal, staff were lovely and the setting is very nice
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeStaff were great and the view from our table was beautiful. The food was edible but not great and felt it was overpriced. Would probably not return.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeLove. meal yesterday with family and friends. Food was delicious and the lady that served us was lovely. Will definitely be back.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeWe had a very tasty roast beef dinner. They were very generous portions and the staff were very friendly and helpful..Will be back again soon
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeWe stayed the night at the golden ball in one of the pods we went for an evening meal I had steak pie my partner had fish and chips. I must admit it’s one of the nicest meals I’ve had in a long time. The service was fantastic people very very friendly. had a fabulous time. Thank you very much hope to see you all again
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeLovely meal on mother's Day with the family. Good food, served hot with good service and reasonably priced. Will definitely return.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeBooked a table online, for 7-15, Thursday 16th March. Arrived on time to be greeted by staff, who when we booked in at the venue told us the kitchen is closed and cleaned down for the night. Disappointed at this comment, was offered if we wanted they could possibly cook us something. To which we declined. Seems as though the staff don’t check bookings, not very happy
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeNice quality food if a somewhat limited choice. Pub was freezing due to heating failure. Could have put some portable heaters in. Staff were very nice and helpful.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeReally nice staff couldn’t do enough for us. Stayed in the cottage which was very cold but we got moved which was good and no issues. Nice setup and blond hair bar staff lady could not do enough for us. Food was disappointing as they ran out of most things before we ordered, but overall a great visit and nice place.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeAs usual very good ,sorry that steak sandwich not on menu any more , Hubby had gluten free fish and chips he said it was very good I had a panini which was nice served with a salad all very fresh .
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeThe waitress Joanne was great. The top room was freezing which made us was to leave as soon as we had eaten. We ordered then 20 minutes later informed they didn’t have a certain item on the menu to has to choose again. After choosing another waitress came back 5 mins later to say they didn’t have mash for the other option we chose… The food was edible but wasn’t great and for the price we certainly will not be back.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeMy husband & I went on Valentines night for an early dinner. The food was lovely & plenty of it but I had to keep my coat on throughout the meal as it was so cold in there. Little or no atmosphere, we ate our meal & left immediately after.. Would I go again? Probably but not until the weather improves. I believe there was an open fire but it didn’t penetrate far & a ‘warm welcome’ is what we look for.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeNo faults at all food was lovely, will definitely be back.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeFood was very tasty and hot. Staff super friendly.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeHad a lovely meal, plenty of food and very nicely cooked. The staff were very tentative, nothing was too much trouble. A very nice pub would recommend it
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeGood food and good portions. Will go again
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeNice reception from friendly staff. Fast service and the food was plentiful and very nice. Also great that they have gluten free options other than the stale bread most places serve. Prices are average but you definitely get good quality and quantity. We sat downstairs and had a lovely view over the water.
The Golden Ball Hotel – MorecambeVast improvement since the refurb. We were seated downstairs in the pub part, lovely atmosphere, pleasant service, food excellent - home made steak pie with shortcrust pastry, the real deal. Quite expensive but no more than any other ‘gastro pub’ nowadays and really good quality.
