Really good ,the right combination of a fun atmosphere and sophistication and even better food. a favourite.

I am the daughter of Pedro and i can tell you that this is definitely the place to eat! Its all fresh especially the fish, coming from Scotland and its the finest fish going. I am very proud of our family business and Thank You to all those who came to enjoy our food. = )

This place is wonderful. Book in advance as its often fully booked much to our disappointment. We go around once a month and considering I get bored very easily and love variety, this is a real compliment. I have King Prawn Holy Basil which is so delicious and also quite healthy with lots of fresh greens and big juicy, well cleaned prawns. My partner alternates between Yellow curry (which I pinch a bit of to go on my rice as it ever so tasty) and a Noodle Stir Fry. Prices are exceedingly reasonable for food and alcohol. Try Sabai - a sparkling wine spritzer.

hi, i have been about twenty times, and every time its excellent.the food is amazing, well presented and filling.service is great, not to 'in your face' but waiters are attentive, pleasant and offer friendly advice on meals.you CANT go wrong in here. i will advice you to book in advance, as people queue up outside to wait for tables. the steak is recommended- melts in you mouth mmmm.!

Great restaurant, great food, great service, totally disappointed with the table we were given, placed at a round pub style table which was very wobbly & was squashed between 2 very large tables which soon became occupied so wasn't able to talk to my partner without shouting , spoilt the evening...seemed like bums mean more than comfort...shame. Would recommend and will go again but will ask for a better seating area. Reasonably price for the quality and quantity served.

I have been to this delightful restaurant many many times and I absolutely love it. The staff are very friendly, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is fantastic. The hostess Karmel is one of the most delightful and charming hostesses I have ever met and she always tries her upmost to make your evening very very special.

A real shame a great place that has lost its way - service and quality have not stood the test of time. We recently visited as a party of nine - an unnamed vegetarian option was served to the disappointment of all - it was a Chinese dish. Customer service has also suffered from becoming complacent. I live in London, and since moving from Birmingham 2 years ago I've not found a Fish & Chips bar that comes anywhere near Dad's Lane Fish bar. Everytime a visit Birmingham, it's rare that I will go without fish and chips with curry sauce at some point. The food here is great and service is lovely. I've been going there for 25 years and my family even longer. I couldn't recommend a better place. Beeeaauuttiful!!!

We have been to Ponte Di Legno many times over the years from its early days in Moseley. Unfortunately it has recently gone downhill quite badly. There are some quite good main courses on offer however we have now found: 1. The service has got to the point where you are grateful if you are promptly attended to and given menus when you are seated. 2. The manager is quite simply rude and doesn’t even acknowledge you when you walk in. Then having reserved a table keeps you standing for up to 15 minutes with no apology or other seating in the meantime. 3. The main courses all have the same tomato sauce with them - whether it is pasta or pizza. 4. Be careful ordering the seafood it has made me really quite ill on two occasions! In conclusion we have got to the point where we no longer feel it is value for money to patronise this restaurant. There is such a variety of restaurants in Moseley which have better service, food, and atmosphere compared to Ponte.

IT WAS NICE AND I LOVED THE CHIPS THERE I AM ACTUALLY GOING TO GO AGAIN AND AGAIN THANKYOU FOR THE LOVLY CHIPS AND THE CURRY SAUSE IS GREAT

there chips are really nice but a little to much chilli sauce on our kebabs but nice other wise

the service was not good at all. there was a group of 20. waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for starters and then a further 1 hour for our main course. the bill arrived in three parts the two first arrived with the drinks and main meals and then half and hour later a separate bill for the rotis and nan breads. the service was absolutely diet and will not recommend this place to no one. furthermore once we complained to the manager she was so rude and insulting. will not ever attend this restaurant again.. even her employees were sick and tired of her and walked out at the end of her shift..

It's said that Greek fish and chips and world class. Well Dad's lane is no exception. Some of the finest food in the country comes out of this little Stirchley fish and chip restaurant. With Pedro's legendary reputation, some people have been known to travel the length of the whole city to get the quality that only Dad's Lane provides. If you want the best, then look no further.

2 for 1 pizzas on Tuesdays are amazing. We ate for a tenner (for 2!)
