One of the best local restaurants in Liverpool. Have to say don't be fooled by the small bistro look, the steaks are the best cooked just the way you want it. Lots of regulars - says something about the place doesn't it. The sticky toffee pudding is just the best. Have tried so many sticky toffee puddings just to see if I can find same or better one...... not a chance. me fella had a chocolate pudding which served warm - it just melts in your mouth. its been a while since we've been back. when ever I? in Liverpool I?l be taking a trip down to Paul? place.

Been here on couple of occasions recently with Mum/hubbie. Both times we had very attentive but not too fussy service. Nice touch with warm bread, great for kids. Nice one

Quality food for good prices. I often go after a game of golf and can cost as little as £5 for a roast dinner.

I have recently attended at this taverna and I can honestly say that the food, atmosphere and price were absolutely superb. Without a doubt the best Greek Taverna I have eaten in outside of Greece. Well worth a visit and well worth the money. I would seriously recommend booking in advance and not chancing your arm and turning up off spec.

The food is impeccable, the service is always prompt and with a smile, it has a cosy, friendly atmosphere, and a meal for two with starters usually comes to just under £20! A 5* establishment!!

The first time my family had come to Damons weren't the happiest of people. But since then my family came to visit for a birthday and must say amazing the way we were looked after. Our waitress JO was so pleasant and nothing was too much for her to do. During our stay we experienced the sound of the past in which was so good gave the feel of the old days, also a manager had the time to come and say hello checked everything was ok with our meals and service but done it in the way we dint feel bugged. So many thanks to JO who was our waitress and the management team.

I have been to the Liverpool Damon's countless times in recent months, and every time I have been very satisfied. Last time I ordered a 6oz burger - quality/taste of meat was excellent and no sugar-filled sauces needed to cover poor quality like other restaurants do! The service is lightning fast, prices are very reasonable & on a birthday you get entire meal free. You also get free warm bread before starters, and the little touches like that make the difference! Coffees may come complimentary at the end of the meal also, not too sure. Excellent restaurant - and I am a hard bloke to please!

I would like to say how gobsmacked i was at the impressive service at Damons.. I Ate there for the first time on saturday night with my family (5 of Us). i Live in the area and had never been in. i am glad i did As we Arrive we were greeted in a way which i had never been greeted before, it was so nice to see somebody with such a great smile welcoming us to a restaurant, we were told there would be a small wait for a table which was not a problem as i could see it was really really busy. after soaking up the atmosphere in bar area for 15 mins, we were directed to our table. here the service was second to none, it could not be faulted in any way, i had the ribs/Steak to eat. WOW!! they were amazing. the staff worked non-stop and went to every effort to make us feel welcome. The manager even came over and asked if everything was ok and sat down and had a pleasant chat with us. this is the first time any manager has had the time to go around and talk to the guests, i was over the moon and will be returning thanks to the manager Mike/ receptionist Hazel / Waiter Mykel and Great food. well done!!

the food is a bit fatty like the burgers but tastes great and threes lots of interesting stuff like the pictures hanging up on the walls while your looking at them then stop your food is right there its a great place to eat.

What a fantastic friendly family run restaurant, authentic surroundings obvious to owner? taste who is Greek. Music to eat by what can i say except the place to eat and be seen!

This has always been one of my favourite bars in Liverpool. The food is great and the staff are friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The best thing however is the music. Every Monday night they have great bands or singers - the guy who sang all the swing tunes last week was outstanding! Keep up the good work guys and keep the Schmooze as the best Monday in Liverpool!

We regularly eat at damons. we've always had good food on good service. we went last week for my parents 30th wedding anniversary and they made a great fuss. The waiter gave my parents a free drink each (which came out of his pocket) and they got a cake even though we didn't ask for anything! Couldn't ask for better service it really made them feel special!

Never had a bad meal here at all, we go mostly for family occasions and birthdays and its really nice when they bring out a birthday cake for you for free, The plates are massive but definitely worth a visit!

Had a very good meal. staff were very friendly great atmosphere, cant wait to go back.

The food was excellent and a good choice. the starters were enough for 2. if you order the fried mushrooms, which we had, order 1, if there is 2 of you wanting them. main courses' were very good and once again there was plenty. once we were called to our table, the service was quick and good. this was great to see as the dinner was packed and this was a Wednesday night. the service throughout the meal was faultless. to top the night, it was my daughters birthday and we got her meal free aswell as a cake. would i go again, yes. and it easy to park, with no parking fee

There was a good choice on the menu. We had ribs combos, with chicken and prawns. The food was good and there was plenty of it and the service was quick and attentive. The only downside was the children running round which made the place seem more like a playground than a restaurant.

An enjoyable local curry house with great food and friendly service. They do a great Chicken Samba.
