We visited for the first time on Sunday as a table as ten. We pre booked food a week beforehand as requested. Mains came out around 40 minutes after we were sat down. We were kept up to date with how long they were going to be which was good. Service was brilliant can’t fault the staff at all. Sunday lunches were good, desserts not so much but won’t put us off coming back. Lovely evening.

We came for Sunday lunch & it was excellent. The staff are lovely & friendly. We all had the Sunday roast, there was plenty of it & it was well presented. Will definitely visiting again…. Thank you

Lovely meal, great service, lively pub

Been coming here on Friday nights for some time now. Cant fault the food and service. Tried a few different dishes on the menu and all been great. Great value for money keep up the good work.

We came last night for food, a group of 7. The staff were lovely, and the overall atmosphere was very nice however my partner had a curry which was really not the best (this was fed back and knocked off our bill which was really appreciated). The rest of the food was fine, some meals were enjoyed more than others. I think a few areas of improvement are needed in the quality of food but overall a nice place.

Went with 2 friends, in November, Very quick service, delicious huge piece of gammon steak, friends both had the scampi, it was lovely, lovely staff very helpful, very good value for money, would definitely go back there again

Daughters pizza was undercooked so had to send back. We had all eaten our mains when it finally arrived. Both lamb and beef roast dinners were very tough. Asked for lamb sauce which never arrived. Didn’t ask for pizza to be deducted from bill but service staff didn’t offer any compensation for the mistake. Will not return which is a shame as venue has potential but food/service let it down.

We had a lovely meal on a Wednesday evening! Food was really lovely and the atmosphere was cozy especially sitting in the pub part ! Definitely will return !!

Staff are lovely but not enough of them so service was slow. Sunday roast was very disappointing, reminded us of school dinners. I would not rush back.

Very crowded as pub was celebrating Bonfire Night but our tall, bald maitre d’ was marvellous and did his best to look after us. He did! Atmosphere was good, food nice and we’ll be back - but on a quieter night!

Nice place, good service, disappointing menu and choice of food. It was a Sunday so perhaps the regular menu might have been better.
