I visited Asiana Fusion in Sunderland with my family on Thursday, 27th February 2025, at 7 PM. The restaurant was busy but had a nice, relaxed atmosphere—lively without being too loud, which made it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. Service & Atmosphere The staff were great—attentive without being overbearing. We never had to chase them for drinks, and our food arrived surprisingly fast. They cleared our plates quickly between courses, which kept things flowing smoothly. The restaurant itself is stylish, with a modern feel and great views of the river, making it a nice setting for a meal out. Food & Drinks The menu had plenty of options, and everything tasted fresh. We all enjoyed our meals, and it was clear that a lot of care had gone into the dishes. There were no complaints from our group, and everyone left happy. Value for Money For five of us, the bill came to £195, including a 15% tip. That covered a full meal and at least two drinks each, including alcohol. It worked out to about £33 per person, which felt like good value for the quality of food and service we got. Overall Thoughts Asiana Fusion is a great spot for a meal out—good food, a nice setting, and friendly service. It’s somewhere I’d happily go back to and would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a solid Asian restaurant in Sunderland.

Visiting the area and decided to give Asiana a try. Really glad we did as everything was excellent. Very friendly service in a lovely restaurant. We had a banquet meal and all courses were delicious and we struggled to eat it all! Will definitely go again when in the area.

We got the lunchtime menu so great value for money. The food was tasty and arrived quickly. Our server checked on us regularly but not overbearing. The venue has gorgeous views of the sea and a nice vibe inside.

Food stunning. Again. I highly recommend getting quite a few starters and treating it like a Tapas type meal. Wow. Prawn toast is supposed to be mundane. Not here. Spectacular!! Angry crab is to die for! And all with a view of the sea which is unrivalled.

This was our first visit to the restaurant and we had a very enjoyable meal. There's a huge menu to choose from. Our meals were nicely presented and tasty. The waitresses were friendly and cheerful. The place is really smartly decorated in an Asian / Chinese sort of style. It's not huge so was relatively quiet, making for a relaxing meal. And we thought the price was pretty reasonable for what we had. And... there's an amazing view of the sea too!

Good service but quite disappointed with the quality of food. Fish very plain and dry.

Enjoyed the food however the, I presume, Manager was quite abrupt and rude when we said we were there for Restaurant Week and not very patient. Table service was good.

The food was amazing and loved everything we eat! Unfortunately the service was very poor. We waited 20mins after finishing our starter for someone to collect our plates and get us another drink. We had a couple next to us who walked out as they were waiting a while also l. Apart from the service it was good. And we also had to pay £9 service fee.

The food is always delicious, the Team are always fab. My Friend and I had a lovely lunch and were very grateful to be given a voucher towards our next visit.

Friendly, attentive staff. Comprehensive menu choices. Excellent quality food. Really nice location and ambiance. Don't particularly like a service charge being added, this should be optional and at the discretion of the diner. That said, we will return.

Absolutely fantastic food and service, staff were fantastic and knowledgeable with the menu. Had a great night and will be back. Thank you to Ray and the team.

Very good food but expensive Crab cakes were soggy and greasy but the rest was excellent The sirloin signature dish and the beef short rib were amazing Drinks sides and starters very expensive so I would not say value for money

Absolutely lovely restaurant. We really enjoyed our meals and drinks. We went on a Saturday night and it was busy but not over crowded. The staff were lovely and very attentive. Highly recommended! Thank you ! PS we enjoyed The Stack over the road too!

We always love going house of zen the lunch menu is great value for money and the food is always delicious.
