My sister and I visited Washington Galleries last week and had the best cheese scones we have tasted, as its our favourite. We have tried quite a few but yours gets ten out of ten from us. Next time we visit we will try some of the others as they all looked delicious.
Gillies Restaurant – WashingtonThis pub is in a lovely location. The staff and regulars are very friendly. My friend and I enjoyed a great weekend there. There was a great band on and when there is no music the Juke box is great fun.....Sunday lunch is yummy.....

Sandpiper The – WashingtonI have been for a meal in the oasis on an afternoon. The menu has changed and the food was really satisfying. I have been told it will be closed soon for refurbishment, it is a bit dark at the minute so if they lighten it up, which I’ve been told they are going to, it will be a much nicer place to eat. The drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff are polite. I look forward to seeing it when it's been refurbished.
Oasis The – WashingtonI had a meal in the Black Bush and i have to say i was more than happy. The staff were very attentive and polite. The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere, very relaxing and comfortable. I would certainly recommend it to friends and family. All in all a lovely day out.
The Black Bush – WashingtonI enjoyed my visit to The Blue Bell, the staff and regulars were very accommodating and friendly. On the whole, a lovely pub which i would recommend to anyone.
Blue Bell Inn – Washingtonfor a small pub i found the food too be of very good quality far superior to a lot of the pub meals you can get which are obviously all frozen. The food is fresh and traditional but presented with a modern twist. Sunday lunches are superb just like at home no frozen veg and homemade Yorkshires for a reasonable price. Would highly recommend in the summer as has recently been renovated and looks over fat field river all in all a lovely meal.
Havelock The – Washington
