The Red Lion – NorthamptonA great evening, relaxing in a calm environment with lovely food and drink. A treat.
The Red Lion – NorthamptonIt is clean good staff . There are things for the children to do .I hope to come back and see the staff again.
Eastern District North Social Club – NorthamptonWe have been before and found the service and food to be good. How disappointed we all were with the service and food. The food served to me was not what was ordered. The waitress said she would get it changed but as this would take sometime she would put the meal that was correct in the oven to keep warm. When the meals came, served by the man that took the order. The chips were as best overcooked and were chard black and very grease. The minted peas were cold and the fish was overcooked as well. We are not complainers but I felt on reflection because the meals were so bad and being waited on by the bar man that took the order the situation may have been orcastrated to create some sort of confrontation. We did not complain we ate and left. We will not eat there again.
Fox and Hounds – NorthamptonStayed at the plough a couple of times staff are very pleasant, accommodation is clean will stay again .
Plough Hotel – NorthamptonDespite ringing this morning to check they were still doing food and we could have the carvery up to 4 o clock when we turned up at 3 o clock there was no food. We didn't even stay for a drink as we had to get another taxi to another pub where we did get food. Shire horse, can't rate your food because we didn't get any, service is minus 10 because that's our taxi costs.
The Shire Horse Pub – CorbyThe fish is cooked to order never had a bad haddock, the chips are always good quality. Been a customer for a few years. Excellent fish n chips
The Tasty Plaice – RushdenIt was a great experience to call Rajput takeaway. The best takeaway food so far I have discovered it was Rajput for sure. If they provide me a discount, I will order takeaway every week. At least for once as it worth having some delicious spice.

The Chequered Flag – CorbyI was one of a group of 20 people who dined at The Bull on Sunday 11th August 2013. The surroundings were comfortable and the food was excellent. The Bar Staff and Waitresses made our visit really entertaining and worthwhile. We shall most certainly go back for further gastronomic treats.
The Bull at Towcester – TowcesterThis is a good old style pub with good beer, good staff, friendly regulars and excellent home cooked food. I am a regular at this pub but always make sure I recommend it to people who want somewhere for some good quality but not too fancy food, especially good for family meals which can be eaten in the upstairs restaurant in an intimate atmosphere or in the social atmosphere of the main pub area.
The Knights Lodge – CorbyVisited today 3rd visit. couldn't fault the first two.today the young lady hadn't a clue how to make Capuccino and bit her nails the whole time. When the meal arrived the steak was almost invisible and what there was i could hardly get the knife through it was nearly all grisle and fat.The tomato was burntThe mushroom running in fat.Couldn;t fault the chips and puddingThen to crown it all no loo roll in the toilets. There was a queue waiting to be served an d i had an appointment or i would have spoken to someone on site.Hopefully this was a one off
