La Pergola – NorthamptonBest pub in Northampton by a yard of ale, the UK friendliest Bar staff and Craig, great food, beers and great garden with the best live entertainment, no n**s in here!!
The Wig and Pen – NorthamptonThe Bull at Towcester Fantastic welcome and excellent food. Thank you we had a great time. Friendly staff, hot food, beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked.
The Bull at Towcester – TowcesterFantastic food, fantastic place, fantastic experience well done!
Bella Sicilia – NorthamptonDave is the well known landlord of this pub with his soon to be bride Jules, Dave loves darts and a pint of Fosters, its an intimate family orientated pub, it has not changed much in the last 40 years, so for beer and skittles, and Toshs Quiz night it is the place to be
Princess Alexandra – NorthamptonThis is it!!! I learned Chinese cuisine in the mid 60s at the Golden City where the Grosvenor Centre now stands. It was great to return to Northampton after 40 years to find this little gem which is under patronised in relation to the wonderful food on offer at very reasonable cost Not at all your standard sexed up Hong Kong takeaway to eat in. This is food to appreciate and savour. Innovative and creative all the dishes have a 21st Century twist but retain all the delights offered up by ad hoc combinations of the historic bases of ginger sesame soy garlic rice wine . Everything is subtle from the spare ribs and the belly pork to the duck and the tamarind. Felix is a master and a hearty host who treasures his customers as he cares for his wok!!! You will not be disappointed!!
Felix Yu Restaurant – NorthamptonLove it, Love, it Love it. Friendly staff, Good quality food and a reasonable price. Manager always takes time to speak to you if he is at the bar. My partner and I like to have the Sirloin Steak with pepper sauce. and we love the curry nights on a Wednesday. The waiting staff always come to see if all is OK and clear the table when you have finished so no dirty plates laying around.plenty of seating area. Plus you have the OURFAMILY points card. Oh, by the way, the belgium Chocolate Cheesecake is to die for. Well done all of you at the priory, your customer service is fabulous. Elizabeth
The Priory Pub – Wellingboroughi came across this takeaway by chance as far cotton tandoori is located directly next door. the staff behind the bar are really friendly and the food is superb. i recommend this takeaway if you like a decent Indian meal
Akbor Tandoori Indian Takeaway – NorthamptonVery welcoming, friendly restaurant. Lots of locals who are obviously regulars. Families welcome. Excellent food - they will prepare something at your request if they have the ingredients. We are going again soon. Easy to park in the street outside in the evening.
Bella Sicilia – KetteringThis eatery is absolutely superb, the food and wine is fantastic and truly authentic. The service is also great and overall well priced. Great to have this restaurant on our doorstep.
Rossetti – BrackleyI have dined at A Tasca on two occasions recently. Staff were on hand to offer friendly advice as regards their menu and wines that will compliment your meal. Ideal restaurant if you want somewhere that's quiet, small and cosy. Tastefully decorated. Tables are mostly laid out in two's and fours. The Portuguese soup was slightly to salty for me. But could not fault anything else.
A Tasca – CorbyThe best real Italian food I've had outside of Lake Garda in Italy. Not a pizza in sight (hurrah) fabulous homemade risottos, cabonara, spaggettis and generous helpings of sea bass, steaks and duck dishes to mention only a few. Carefully chosen, Italian wines. Best of all, not overpriced and lovely service.
Rossetti – BrackleyI found the room with shower ensuite to be comfortable and spacious & the thing I noticed was how quiet it was. Away from home, the room was clean. It had tv & freeview channels, it was a little oasis to escape to after work. There was the Village Inn for waitress food service and an evening drink plus other eating take-away choices. It was great.
