The Apple Inn – BamburghWe came for breakfast on Saturday 2nd march, as usual the food was lovely and the staff were friendly as always We have eaten here a few times now and will certainly be going back
The Apple Inn – BamburghWe love going to apple inn for Sunday lunch and weekly lunch. However this Sunday we booked for a late seating and although staff are amazing they were running around so busy and looking very hot. Our food was good however. Or as good as usual. The sirloin was very chewy and couldn’t cut it. We couldn’t attract anyone’s attention for extra gravy. The lamb shank was very well done. Not a lot of vegetables compared to what we usually have. Desserts were fab as always. We will still go back as we love it and this was a blip Sunday.
The Apple Inn – BamburghWhat a wonderful warm & friendly pub. From the moment we entered the door we were greeted by Lindsay with such warmth and kindness. The food was beautiful, atmosphere brilliant just a lovely place to eat good food, drink good ales and make new friends. We loved it so much went the night after too. Claire and the bar staff are so friendly and attentive even the dog was treated like royalty! Will definitely be a regular from now when we are up in the area.
The Apple Inn – BamburghOur 36th Anniversary so a lot riding on a hopefully enjoyable and romantic evening in a new location to us. The Apple Inn gave what we wanted and more. A really nice and much appreciated welcoming long stem glass of Prosecco with complements of the management. We were escorted to a cosy corner which was well selected for our intimate dining experience. The menu selection was well balanced and varied exactly to our needs. We started with garlic mushrooms in a rich tasty sauce which is to die for. We followed with the Guinness steak and ale pie and also the fish pie both of which were exemplary. Crispy well proportioned vegetables complimented the main course. A lovely dessert finished us off as we were very well fed. Lynn the very friendly server at out table made us extremely welcome served us expertly and we shared a few cheeky laughs together which made us feel we had made friends by time of our departure. The apple Inn is first class, our only regret was why we had not tried it sooner. We will be back with our highest recommendations. Thank you guys for a great evening. Steve &Tina from York xx
The Apple Inn – BamburghWe are regular visitors to the Apple inn and they never disappoint, food is faultless, service is excellent creating a lovely atmosphere to have Sunday lunch.
The Apple Inn – BamburghLovely pub with great food and great staff . We brought a dog and she was made welcome with enough space between tables for her to lie down and not get walked on.
The Apple Inn – BamburghVery friendly and welcoming staff, food was wonderful on both occasions that we ate there. Can’t wait to return!
The Apple Inn – BamburghFabulous food and drinks, outstanding service from Helen and the other team members. They went over and above to assist with our autistic daughter and we all enjoyed a brilliant dinner. Thanks guys!
The Apple Inn – BamburghAll our party thoroughly enjoyed our meal, great service and good portion sizes. King Prawn Tacos were delicious
The Apple Inn – BamburghLovely food, slow service despite it not being busy. Overcharged for drinks. Disappointing overall really, staying at HPB and would be ideal for walking down more than once per week.
The Apple Inn – BamburghHi, We had a lovely Sunday lunch , the roast beef dinner was the best we have ever had, the building is really nice and modern, the staff made our visit very helpful and very pleasant people. We would recommend this to anyone,
The Apple Inn – BamburghWe were staying at the cottages nearby last weekend and went to the Apple Inn to watch Newcastle Utd on the Saturday night, then again for breakfast on the Sunday morning. My partner as I both said we wished we’d eaten there on the Saturday night as the food looked amazing; breakfast was fab on Sunday. In addition, your lovely manageress (adopted Essex-Geordie!) really looked after us on the Saturday night so thank you for that! We’ll definitely be back :)
The Apple Inn – BamburghStaff excellent. Food cooked beautifully. My wife had the Kippers and was very impressed. I had the small breakfast. Lived up to it's name. It was small. Never had such a minuscule pot of baked beans. Could actually have counted them individually. Having said that, the food was very well- cooked. Given the size, and the lack of any toast, £12.00 was excessive. In the Peak District where I live, £12.00 would have got you the big full breakfast, which is too much for me. The small full English at various locations costs between £7.95 and £9.50 and you get a good helping if baked beans!! No complaints as to quality, for me, just quantity!
The Apple Inn – BamburghGreat quality food, lovely service!
The Apple Inn – BamburghWhat a fantastic place, it never disappoints! Very welcoming once again. The food was excellent, the service fantastic and nothing too much trouble for the waiting staff. We will definitely be back again in the Spring.
The Apple Inn – BamburghWe ate at the apple Inn last night. We both had fish pie, we'd been looking forward to it as we've had it many times here. It did not disappoint! It is the best fish pie ❤️ the most welcoming staff, cosy pub. Look forward to coming back.
