Enjoyed our visit . Sunday lunch good but would have liked to have seen a veggie option for the Sunday roast menu with veggie gravy too . Starters delicious. Service great ,very friendly and professional. Asked if we could tip the staff with card but advised only cash which seems a shame as I’m sure they must miss out as who carries cash nowadays. They also have the School House opposite the pub and we had breakfast there the next morning and was super fantastic. It’s well worth a visit to start your day.

Two excellent meals at the inn during our stay in Lucker. Helpful service and reasonably priced.

Me & my family had a gorgeous meal here for my birthday with the grandkids. The staff were very helpful and polite. Also my husband passed out just after our meal and I must thank the staff for all their help and support. They took the grandkids into another room till my husband came around. They couldn’t do enough to help. I would deffo recommend here for a meal. It was worth every penny. Also it is dog friendly.

Booked here when staying locally as wanted somewhere dog friendly . Was very pleased we did , lovely building with friendly and attentive staff . Menu was extensive and really good choices . The ability to have light bites and smaller plates is good . We started with the charcuterie board which was amazing ! Husband had honey glazed pork and was very impressed ! I had the fish tacos with onion rings , of which there were loads . Good value for money and would happily recommend if you are in the area

Visited for a couple of nights and ate at the Apple Inn both nights. Food was fantastic, well sized portions and staff were friendly and attentive. Prices seemed very reasonable for the quality and amount of food we were given.

Sunday lunch but not the usual fare. Vegetables were excellent and perfectly cooked. I had the pork which came as a chop but with no fat. The other two had beef and chicken which were very good. All plates were cleared completely. Wide choice of drinks and my IPA was just right. All in all a very good lunch with good friendly service and great value for money. Will be back.

Had fantastic meals at the apple inn, stayed for two nights and ate there both nights, the staff go out of their way to make u feel special, JD in perticular goes above and beyond and so super friend, Michael our server was great too, the good was unbelievably tasty to the point my 9 year old polished off everything and she's a fussy eater. The chicken supreme is so good, all in all can't wait to come back, see u all next year

Visited on Friday evening. Absolutely fantastic in every way. This was the first time we’ve been here and most certainly won’t be the last. Amazing food and amazing friendly staff who made us feel like we were regulars who they hadn’t seen for a couple of weeks. 10 out of 10. (Worth note that I’ve only ever written one review before but our experience was so good I had to comment on it).

Lovely place; nice atmosphere; friendly staff;great food.

We have eaten at The Apple Inn a couple of times and on each occasion the food and service has been superb. All of the staff are very friendly and attentive. Wonderful place for a drink and dinner.

We have visited The Apple Inn at Lucker several times when we visit the North East. We have always been met by curteous and friendly staff. The service is very good. Food delicious. Only wished we lived nearer then could visit more often. Thank you

Another good Sunday meal. Three adults chose from the roast menu - chicken, lamb shank, and sirloin of roast beef. Clean plates all round but too full for desert so can't comment on that. A busy session but we were served drinks straight away and the meal wasn't too far behind. Good beer and soft drinks.

Our visit to the Apple Inn 14/8/22. Arrived at 6:00pm and were shown to our pre booked table. Within a couple of minutes of being seated we were asked for our drinks order. Menu's were given out to the four of us to inspect. Very well presented menu with a good choice of adult and child meals. The food was of very good quality, fresh and served hot( very important to me). My wife and I opted for the Sunday roast and chose the chicken. The kids really enjoyed their meals and obviously the deserts. All-in all a very enjoyable experience. Thank you.5*

Very good food and well looked after during our visit.

We always eat at The Apple Tree when in the area but this was our first visit since the pandemic and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and staff efficient and very welcoming. The menu has a good variety of dishes to chose from. One noticeable change for the better was the distance between tables and how they can be sectioned off for a more private dining experience - it always seemed very crowded before. They are always very busy so it's essential to book. Highly recommended.
