The Apple Inn – BamburghHad a top class meal here on 17/7/21. Began with a specially made pink flamingo cocktail which was delicious. Mussels for starters and then halibut for mains. All cooked to perfection. Good value and nice atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

The Apple Inn – BamburghWe called in here while on holiday in Northumberland and had a drink during a terrific thunderstorm. We liked it so much we went back for a meal later in the week . We had to eat outside as it was the week before May 17th but blankets were available if we’d wanted one. Definitely somewhere to go if in the area. The food was excellent , beautifully served and a lovely choice and the staff were just an absolute delight. We will definitely go back when down there again

We were outside for our meal due to Covid restrictions, but the tables were well set apart with a canopy. We had 4 different meals from the Sunday menu - all were delicious and served nice and hot by the friendly staff - and the sticky toffee pudding was gorgeous! Very much recommended.

Although it was cold and wet, we were sheltered and the food was prompt. All loved the sticky toffee pudding too! Will definitely return very soon.

Food is really nice, good size portion, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The only criticism, was due to COVID restrictions we had to sit outside and there was no outside heating provided and the weather wasn't great, but otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it and visit again.

We wrapped up warm for the lunch as weather can be unpredictable so I would advise the same for others if eating outside before June! Well worth a visit - the Apple is in a lovely location with easy access to the A1. We shall visit again! Thank you.

The Apple Inn – BamburghHad a few takeaways from the Apple Inn, including two of their Sunday lunches. We haven’t yet had the chance to have a ‘sit in’ lunch at the Apple, but have at various other establishments over the years, and generally speaking you would expect a ‘sit in’ lunch to be much better than a takeaway, but the Apple Inn’s takeaway Sunday lunch was - without a doubt - better than any I’ve ever had inside an eatery EVER! It was so good that I may never bother cooking another one myself. The staff were welcoming and efficient, all Covid-secure measures in place, making you feel very safe. My compliments to the chef and thanks to all staff and owners.
