Really enjoyable as always. In the outside area and very nicely done. We will be back.

Can not fault the staff, very friendly and professional and food was cooked to perfection. Because of Covid restrictions we were in an outside area which was clean and tidy with fleece blankets being available to hire with half the hire cost going to a charity. It certainly was cold with no heating which unfortunately meant the toast that came with the mussels and the terrain was cold but that was a small price to pay. Would we go again? Of course we would, and we have already booked a further visit.

Thoroughly enjoyed our sunday lunch. Service was prompt and friendly, excellent food and abience in the best covid secure way I have seen a restaurant be managed.

Great night, lovely fresh tasty food and really nice staff, friendly , engaging and very friendly.

Visited Apple Inn the day before 2nd lockdown. Staff could not be more friendly and quickly asked if we wanted water for our Labrador. Although the pub was quiet, food provided was fantastic (especially the fish pie). Overall couldn't be faulted. Good luck when you open again.

Visited for the first time just before the latest lockdown. Food was superb & staff were very friendly, we will definitely return as soon as they’re open. The covid procedures in place were top notch & we felt very safe.

Enjoyed a fabulous meal whilst staying in the area for a short break, excellent service and the sirloin was melt in the mouth perfection. great to see so many dogs, will definitely visit again.

This is the second meal we have had in the Apple Inn this year food again was excellent and they have local real ales.

We had four excellent meals at the Apple Inn. The staff were very efficient and accommodating & the meals were good value. We look forward to seeing you again.

I've eaten at the Apple Inn twice recently. Different experiences. In both cases the food was delicious but service was quite different. Saturday breakfast the service was very slow, with only one person waiting on. But the food was amazing. Sunday lunch - 5 staff, service was brilliant and the lunch wonderful. Best Sunday lunch for ages , especially the vegetables. Just one other suggestion - you have a log burner - it would be nice to put it on.

Fantastic food, fantastic friendly service. A very warm welcome from the minute we stepped in the door. We had 3 dogs who were all made very welcome. The place was clean and very cold secure, plenty of room between tables but still had a warm friendly feel about the place. The food was out of this world, the meat was cooked to perfection and the veg and your Lahore pudding and potatoes were beautiful. We had the pumpkin soup (the best soup we have had). It was my mums birthday so they had trimmed a little celebration banner at our table which was very nice and thoughtful of them. The value fur money was good too. We are booked to visit again next June for a week and we will most definitely be dropping in at The Apple Inn again for food and wine. Thank you to all the staff, stay safe and take care x

Lovely food, friendly staff and dog friendly. They coped very well considering the current restrictions, would definitely return when visiting the area again.

My family and I all agreed this was the best food we have ever had in a Gastro Pub. 4 starters and 4 main courses, absolutely lovely. It’s not often we are blown away when eating out! Covid measures followed too... a must visit!!

This is the second time we have stopped at The Apple Inn and it wont be the last. The staff are very attentive, the Darcy suit is perfect and the food is excellent.

Great service and delicious puddings . We also had a private table in the corner . The apple crumble was homemade and simply Devine . The apple was coated in cinnamon and the custard and crumble were cooked to perfection . The ladies serving my family were brilliant, friendly and attentive without being over attentive. My kids loved the sticky toffee puddings too. Our main meals were also excellent but as you can read above , I’m a puddings man . I recommend this eating house . Particularly is you love a homemade pudding .

Stayed just around corner so visited for dinner several times . Nice pub, good food but really made by the friendly and helpful staff. We came with our puppy Reggie and they were very good with him. Highly recommended .
