My husband and I had a really lovely meal at Quattros. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant as are the friendly and efficient staff. We have booked to return already for a special birthday meal and this time we are taking all rhe family

Quattro’s – OrmskirkUnfortunately, it gives me no pleasure to write this review, as this is a place we used to eat at regularly. We have eaten here for many years, but it has been steadily declining in the last couple of years or so. We ate there last Thursday and it has dropped to a level, that means we will no longer be returning. Firstly, our starter (both ribs) came out lukewarm at best. We sent these back, only for them to come back from the kitchen within a few minutes. The portion was smaller this time and I am pretty sure the original dishes had just been microwaved. Nobody came to ask if the replacement dishes were ok. On to the mains. The dough in my pizza was not cooked properly. My wife was served a steak, swimming in sauce, that was not cooked as she requested. We would have raised an issue, but nobody came to ask how the food was. Considering we had sent the starters back, you would think someone would have at least paid some attention. We had two drinks, but had to ask for the second. Unsurprisingly given the lack of attention to detail, nobody approached us regarding drinks. We did not have a pudding, as we were not even offered a menu. Not that we would have ordered any more food anyway, given the previous courses.

Starters were amazing, beautifully presented & very generous in size. 3 out 5 of the party had pasta as a main and all enjoyed it, again very generous servings & pipping hot. Both my elderly parents had salmon and cleared their plates, a first for such fussy eaters. I did book for 1:30pm sitting as I didn’t realise the restaurant shut after lunch. Next time I would slightly earlier so it’s a little busier. However at no time did we feel rushed, service was excellent. Hope to return very soon, food incredible.

The lady who organises everything is superb. She’s always watching out for everyone and tries to make your experience lovely every time. I cannot compliment this restaurant enough we are lucky it’s local for us. Thanks to all the staff over the years.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe were 1st sat at a table squashed in betwean 2 large parties. It was also next to a radiator. It was really hot. We asked to be moved. We felt squashed in. If anyone on the table next to us had needed to get out, it meant 1 of us would have to move. The next table was a lot better. We enjoyed our meals and the staff were friendly. Just could have done with more staff. We weren't asked if everything was OK and we hardly got any drinks because the staff weren't around to ask... it was very busy though and I'm sure the staff did their best. Despite the lack of drinks we had a good evening.
