we struggled to find a veggie restaurant in Plymouth ,an Indian wasn't our first choice but this was great the food was excellent, the elderflower cordial was just carbonated water, service was very slow (we had to skip dessert as the 2 hour parking was up) we will go again

Nice location, Newly refurbished, Staff very friendly, Would recommend to anyone wanting quick filling food before night out, Attached to premier inn so make a night of it, close to local entertainment.

I was recommended this place, so i took the family, BRILLIANT, what can i say the food was brilliant and so was the service, my youngsters were given colouring to do whilst waiting for their food, which they ate all of it . I can recommend the ribs and the fajitas, the smokey BBQ sauce was lovely, i thought the waitress looked like she loved working there, if i was younger! TRY IT YOURSELF

Really good food and lovely staff. They were more than happy to alter dishes to meet my dietary requirements and as someone who has travelled to India several times, it is the closest ive ever had to the taste of genuine indian cuisine

Very disappointed with the Barbican Kitchen, we were rushed, were not offered bread like everyone else and my order was wrong. Having booked this for my anniversary I was very disappointed and would not return. Morgans is much better and your treated like you should.

Recently tried this restaurant again, after a couple of years absence. We were made very welcome and sat in the conservatory with outstanding views over Plymouth Sound. looking at Plymouth from this view gives a whole new aspect!! The food we ordered was first class, both in taste and presentation. Service was pleasant & non obtrusive, while their wine list tastefully matched the accompanying fish dishs. This restaurant may be difficult to get to, but you need to get there while you can still get a seat with a fantastic view & brilliant food.

A sophisticated restaurant with a modern, comfortable style, the Dartmoor Union was not at all the small cramped pub in a country village that we expected. Subdued lighting, large squashy leather sofas, a blessedly smoke-free atmosphere, and very professional service all added to the very enjoyable experience. We had simple roasts (it being Sunday) but of a quality of ingredients and cooking that I have rarely experienced before outside a Michelin star restaurant. The food was of excellent quality for an astonishingly reasonable price (£15.95 for a three course lunch) and the service was just right. If there is a fault then it is that the portions are a little too big. Strongly recommended but allow plenty of time to get to the village through the narrow Devon lanes.

when we given the menu we were told that they had run out of scallops for starters. When we were going to order we were then informed that there was no lamb for the main course! so we had to make another choice.We ordered lovely bottle of rose wine(the only one on the wine list) we went to order a second, only to be told "sorry we have run out" Not what you expect on a saturday evening.The delivery of the food by the staff was very disjointed, they seemed unaware of what the dishes were. On a more positive note the food was very good.

We went here for a family meal on a Thursday evening and were very impressed. We had heard others say what a lovely place it was and so were pleased to find it had not been over- rated. Beautiful views-lovely when the sun was setting. It was busy too (but thankfully not crowded!) even though it was a Thursday. I had the tuna steak and it was delicious. Excellent service in both the restaurant and bar. Would definitely go back again.

Excellent service, our waitress had a lot of tables the night we went, but had time for everyone. nothing was too much trouble, steaks were 1 well done, 1 rare, both were very good, i had burger - also very tasty! liked the atmosphere & decor, very relaxing, will be back within a month as an enjoyable experience

One of my favourite restaurants in Plymouth, excellent food, delicious!! Although a little pricey the food is different to what you get elsewhere, really classy and the food preparation is spot on. The food is always well cooked and you have so much to choose from. I can't wait to travel to Plymouth for my next visit to Piermaster .... 5 stars all round.

dining here is a fun experience, the staff are buzzing & friendly, nothing is too much trouble. very clean, would recommend, only gripe is cost of a cola, apart from that, everything excellent - also know others who have been & their experience equalled mine

We went twice in a week and ate really well. We both love simple seafood which is in abundance here. Also found the knowledgeable staff a real bonus. Back soon.

Have visited the Souk restaurant several more times and have not had a disappointing meal there. Each time i have visited with different friends and they have all commented on what a lovely restaurant it is. Early evening is my favourite time to eat as its quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I even left some money there by accident and the waitress ran down the street to tell! Plus the Manageress is always friendly and helpful. Lovely restaurant, brilliant staff!
