We went to the cube last week and were made to feel ok but they did not look at us right because we had our baby with us and was then made to feel we shouldn? have been there. Food was ok .a bit cold but tasty. Its a nice venue but will take me and the mothers day unit to the other venue in Poulton that looks after us. Having said that the staff at cube are ok and food is ok too. Im sure the standards will pick up soon.

I regularly visit Ricos and find the staff and service excellent. The ambience is great and the food is always of a high standard. Can be a long wait for a table at weekends as there is no booking policy.

We had tried the high cross early last year and found both food and staff terrible however we thought we would try again and what a change the staff are helpful and I can honestly say we have not had a bad meal yet and we have been that often we must have tried most of the menu. well done!

Having read some of the reviews below I was surprised to see what had been written about my favourite Fylde coast restaurant. I find each time I enjoy it more and more. The staff are friendly and atmosphere is fantastic. I went in on Sunday to find it full, now that is saying something for a restaurant this size on a Sunday evening. The food is always of high quality with the drinks at a reasonable price in relation to Poulton drinks prices. All in all a high recommendation!!

Okay, the food tasted excellent, could've been a little more crispy but none the less, there was more than plenty of it. The service was good, although slow, took a while to order drinks. the atmosphere was great- but i think that was more the crowd we were with. the koi karp pool was an excellent feature. the buffet was a bargain for what you got but i found the drinks to be expensive and so the bill was soon run up to more than double of what we thought it would be. undecided whether i will return though.

Re-furbished cafe-bar serving food during the day. We had eggs benedict which was superb, a homemade soup which was to die for, and seafood tagliatelle which was amazing for the price, and packed with prawns, salmon, tuna and mussels. Service was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Had a good lunch in the cube however my only gripe is the price and how very similar the menu is to another venue in Poulton. My question is who copied whom. Anyway apart from that it was an ok meal nicely presented. Certainly had worse lets put it that way. Ok for a sandwich if your on the move and in a rush

I took my girlfriend there on sunday night and everything from the food to the service was first class.

Well what can I say; it got of to a rocky start, but has now transformed itself into a very popular restaurant. Although I was nervous about returning after dining there last year I was not disappointed again. Glad I gave it another chance as the food was superb and the service was good especially considering it was so busy.

Excellent food and service. The kebabs are especially good.

The food here is excellent and the standard is consistent. True, they do get very busy at weekends and you sometimes have to wait a while for your meal so its worth ordering starters to put you on. However the wine is very reasonably priced, and its a lovely place to sit and chat over a bottle while you wait for your food - believe me it's well worth the wait.

I have dined here on numerous occasions over the years and each time has been a pleasure. Excellent food even has a variety of sweets. Need to make reservation for Friday and Saturday. Also do takeaways. The staff are friendly and the service is great.

Probably one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Wyre. Been a number of times and always really enjoyed the meal. The staff were most attentive and a very good selection of dishes on the menu. With excellent service and atmosphere included in the very reasonable price.

Like Mike Tyson, Tony Blair and Schumacher, The Mews started to believe it's own publicity and paid the price - or rather the customers did. We had been there a number of times and always been more than satisfied but of late it has been overcrowded, over-booked and over-blown. The seats, especially upstairs are crammed in to get as many clients as possible in, the service is slow to non-moving and the standard of the food has slipped as well. It would do well to return to its early days and standards; more is not necessarily better, especially in the restaurant industry.

To anyone who remembers Chinese restaurants in the 70's, this will be a welcome visit. Recently redecorated, the same family have been running it for many years and still treat all their customers as special. The menu can be chopped and changed at will and the banquets are just that. There is a 'doggy-bag' service if you can't eat it all as well as a prompt and reliable take-away service.
