On Sunday I took my sisters and cousin out , we had a fabulous meal with fabulous staff

My family and I love L'Aquila, from the moment you walk in your made to feel special, greeted by a warm and friendly face and an atmosphere to match. The food is exceptionally good, with a good varied choice,(which is why it's our go to restraunt ) and the prices don't seem to have changed in the last 2/3years. Drinks aren't over priced as they are in most restaurants. It's just the perfect place to go with family or friends for good food and a good atmosphere. The staff, so accomadating, nothing is too much trouble, welcoming, friendly and they all come across as "happy in their work", A big thank you to Emma, what a pleasant and professional young lady with the best people skills I've ever seen in the hospitality industry. Thank you all at L'Aquila for helping create memories.

Fantastic fish supper! Having driven past the Anatolian numerous times I found the perfect opportunity to book a table early Saturday evening. The restaurant has a superb atmosphere, warm, welcoming and friendly. We chose the fish platter and it did not disappoint. A plentiful range of succulent well seasoned prawns and fish which were absolutely delicious, can't wait to return!

From walking in the door everything was top drawer, the friendliness, the service, the food quality, the atmosphere. Very very recommended.

We had a lovely meal, starter and mains, staff we very attentive and polite, I enjoyed the atmosphere, an old pup renovated into a lovely restaurant

Visited L’ Aquila for my wife’s 60th; drinks and food came promptly. We had the ribs, king prawn (Penne Taormina) and garlic bread, all cooked perfectly and white wine. When waiting to pay the bill a tiramisu with a candle was brought to our table and the staff sang happy birthday to my wife. Much appreciated, will definitely visit again.

Great service and waitress went above and beyond to ensure we had a lovely time. Didn’t get her name but she was a polish lady and lovely . Even brought out a cake with happy birthday on for my daughter off her own back . Will definitely return!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely lovely place to eat. Atmosphere is great and the staff are amazing too. Nothing is any trouble for them. As for the food, it is absolutely amazing . There was 10 of us all had different meals and so delicious and presented beautifully. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant bottomless brunch, staff very friendly and attentive, food is delicious and hot, plenty of choice, as soon as the bottle of Prosecco is empty is is replaced, nothing is a bother, been several times and always a great experience

We visited on 33rd Jan. Food was amazing as usual and staff attentive. I had the linguine with prawns and my husband had the lasagne. Plenty of prawns in the linguine and the lasagne was extremely tasty. Starter garlic bread nice and crispy and creme brulee with a hint a orange was delicious

Absolutely amazing meal and service from Kevin and the team. Thank you for making my mums birthday so special. The food was delicious, the service amazing would highly recommend. Definitely the best restaurant around!

We only knew L'Aquila site from being a pub many years ago as I grew up in Prestwich. However, when we found that it was now an Italian and it was near my Mum's it was a perfect choice to have a small 80th birthday meal. It was a Tuesday so not too busy and the lovely young lady who greeted us gave us the choice where to sit. There were plenty of other people in there but it was still wasn't over noisy and the music level was perfect to have a nice conversation. The decor and fit out of the restaurant is lovely and extremely clean. The front of house team working that evening was extremely polite, fast serving, not to intrusive and were always doing something whether it be serving other customers or cleaning/tidying. We ordered multiple course including a special of the day and the food was on point. My Mum who's favourite food is Italian said it was better than any Italian she had been to in the city centre and said she would definitely come back. I always love a garlic bread with cheese, but having the half tomato/half cheese option was the dream. Even though I hadn't said it was my Mum's birthday the staff obviously noticed she was wearing a birthday badge and brought out her dessert with "Happy Birthday" in chocolate piped on it with candles. They then sang to her. This dessert was then taken off our final bill as a gift. She was extremely happy as were we on the overall experience. I would recommend here over any other Italian (we've been to a lot). It's also great of it's location if you don't want to or can't get to a larger city. Keep up the amazing work and kudos to all the back of house team who without the food would not be what it is.
