Booked for partners birthday meal, received a call on the day to advise card machine not working so cash only, glad to get call in advance rather than on arrival. Lovely restaurant, decor, tables. Very friendly staff and helpful on giving advice re food. Food was piping hot and really tasty. They decorated a plate of cheesecake with "Happy birthday" and a candle which was lovely and on bringing the dessert to the table they sang happy birthday to my partner. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Excellent tasty food as ever. The aubergine salad starter is delicious and the king prawns were beautifully cooked. Waiters were very helpful as I asked for more salad instead of potatoes. Atmosphere is friendly. Worth a trip if you've never been - but you will have to book as it is very popular.

Recently visited for my daughters 13th birthday and with family from overseas. Everything was absolutely perfect from the food, service and experience overall. A lovely unexpected surprise for my daughter (A slice of the most amazing cheesecake, decorated beautifully with a candle and song to wish her a Happy Birthday). This is a family run and owned restaurant and it shows, they really do go beyond to ensure you have a wonderful time. The menu is authentic and is truly cooked to perfection, I cannot wait to return. Thank you to everyone at L'Aquila

Best Turkish food in Greater Manchester. Also has a decent wine list. The staff are always lovely, very friendly and efficient, and there’s always a nice atmosphere.

Just can’t say it enough times most definitely our favourite place to eat the food is always superb can honestly say in all the times we’ve been here and there’s a lot we have never been disappointed the flavours are awesome and it’s never boring the menu gets changed round from time to time so there is always something new to try and the service is always spot on

Beautiful decor, very comfortable seating, space between tables and the service friendly and spot on. Food arrived in good time but more importantly was out of this world. All in all my family loved the place, and for me the best restaurant I’ve been to for a long long time. Well done, you will see me again.

We went to L'Aquila on Friday 5th May for the first time for my birthday. What a fantastic, beautiful place! The service, wiatreses, maitre de and bar staff were so welcoming and polite. The food was the best italian we have every eaten! To finish offf the evening I was presented with a lovely cake and the ladies sang happy birthday to me! 10/10 You are doing an amazing job. We will definitely be back!
