A charming restaurant situated in an unspoilt, picturesque part of Yorkshire. The staff are very attentive, the menus are imaginative and the food presentation and quality unbeatable. We enjoyed a wonderful evening there before Christmas, Zac’s is first class for a relaxed, superb meal and excellent value.

Fantastic food and very child friendly. we had 6 children for the Saturday lunch time menu, ranging from 2years to 14 ,the adults and children enjoyed gorgeous food in a lovely,, relaxed atmosphere, all at a reasonable price. I will be recommending it to all my friends with or without children!

The bankhouse is a great place to go if you want some great pub/restaurant food, really good quality, nice atmosphere, fantastic views...definitely recommend it.

Ate here last month and would wholeheartedly recommend going here. We didn't book but arrived early and only just got a table. The food, service and ambience were second to none. It is certainly worth trying - we will be going again.

A very nice place, atmosphere and staff. Only one critisism was that the food was a bit pricey, but as like all restaurants rice etc. is extra, but at £7.00 per main dish which is what you'd expect to pay in a restaurant.

Good food, well presented, fresh and very tasty (if you are sick of Chinese food that all tastes the same - this is the place for you). Staff attend tables cheerfully and efficiently - but do not impose . . . brilliant! Easy and safe parking (unlike our last trip to the city centre). Sizzling squid with ginger and spring onion . . . mmmm! Thanks Northsea!

We went on a cold and wet evening and were welcomed into the warm and delightful restaurant. Prawn crackers arrived even before our drinks did. The service was excellent and overall the food was superb. We tried the £13 early bird and it was more than sufficient in quantity and quality. You can even have a dance on Fridays and Saturdays if you want. And they have a great all you can eat buffet on Sunday and Tuesday .what a place to dine and enjoy the atmosphere, we did.

Been several times over the last few months for dinner. Food is great, much higher than average pub food. Atmosphere and decor of Bankhouse is also good and the service has always been up to scratch on every occasion.

Well, what can I say....When I walked in the door last Saturday my body began to yearn for food. Initially, the restaurant was recommended by a friend, so I was intrigued to find out if I shared their amazement. However, the only downfall was the service. We were served by a boy with a rather large nose, I can't specifically remember his name, but I think he was gay and had a strange laugh. Overall, the Bankhouse was a thoroughly enjoyable experience for me and my family and I would recommend it to anyone who shares with me a love of traditional yet classy pub food.

Positioned in the historic settlement of Fulneck which dates from the early 18th century, this truly excellent restaurant is far too good to recommend. However, since it will close if we keep it a secret why in Leeds are you wasting your time going anywhere else. We have not tasted better prepared and better presented food anywhere. There is nothing on the menu which is not excellent. The wine list though not inordinately long has been chosen by an expert and reflects the superb taste of the owners. The welcome and friendliness of everyone is outstandingly good. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

you lucky people in Yorkshire. in the midlands we have to suffer fish and chips cooked in vegetable oil, not in beef dripping like mother used to make. The service presentation taste in fact the whole experience was memorable. We now have family living near Wetherby so we will now be regulars and we are spreading the word. Full marks to the Wetherby Whaler

We had a cooked breakfast here (they do brunch too) before a lovely walk. Superb food, excellent friendly service from Megan who is so enthusiastic about the restaurant. We'll definitely be back soon for dinner.

This is a special place. Really top quality food but without any pretentiousness. Good value. This is the place to take your lover!

A night out at the North Sea when the disco is on is a great night out. They also do as much as you can eat buffet on a Tuesday night and all day Sunday. Give this a try, the variety of food is fantastic and at 9.00 each I think is a bargain, you also still receive the same quality of service from the waiting staff. All in all a really pleasant place to visit

An excellent meal, great service, attentive without being too keen. The perfect evening of great food, wonderful service, polite staff and amazing value. Would happily pay at least double for any city centre restaurant
