A group of seven of us from Manchester visited on the 19th of May, and we had heard that there exists a very very good Kashmiri restaurant! our first reaction was "What could be better than all the restaurants we have in Rusholme?" we ventured out and tried the food at Aagrah, and here is our verdict "Excellent food, excellent service" better standard than the likes of Nawabs,Sanams,Shere Khans, Lal Qilla, and the list goes on. We tend to eat out as a group as often as we can. Please when will you open a branch in Manchester (Lancashire!) you will save us a 40 mile round trip! Best regards Khalid

Top quality food in very comfortable surroundings. The Aagrah menu contains enough surprises to make repeated visits a must; their buffet is a perfect quick meal, and their whole-sheep raan special is a great communal meal. Not quite the original Aagrah (the new premises are a few yards up the road) but Shipley was where it all started and is still the best of their establishments.
umesh
this is the best restaurant in the world!!
Aagrah Restaurant
Service by Qamar and Wajid was outstanding, they deserve a bonus.
Aagrah Restaurant
The first thing to state wow! What a beautiful upmarket Indian restaurant, probably the finest I have witnessed in Yorkshire. The food had great depth, quality and taste - similar to the environment we were sat in! The service was efficient in all respects, it is simply a stunning place to take that special someone (only if they love Indian food!). The Aagrah has been at the top of the game for years now and their latest edition is a testament to their ongoing pursuit of customer satisfaction.
Aagrah Restaurant
A great place and food is very fresh. I would sell my car to eat here (well actually my better half would). Will definitely return. The best in the Bradford area. I often go to Mumtaz, Akbars and Nawaab, but the Aagrah has the slight edge IMHO.
Aagrah Restaurant
I have eaten at several of the Aagrah chain over the years and regularly eat at Pudsey, which is about a mile away from where I live. The food is consistently good, well spiced and (unlike many curry cafes!) each dish seems to be individually spiced rather than from a mix of four or five stock sauces.
Try the Hydrabady if you want something aromatic and creamy, but make sure you get Kashmiri Kebabs first!
Aagrah Restaurant
Being of Indian origin and having eaten out a lot both in Kenya and the UK, Aagrah in Shipley is my favourite UK Indian mainly because of the quality of food in terms of freshness, cleanliness, authenticity and flavour (they cook most dishes according to your required strength of spice). In addition the service is friendly, helpful and snappy. Finally in regard of these factors, the cost is reasonable.
