ok but not in the same league as its neighbour the anaz then again who is .in any other town or city this would be one of the best.

Akash is THE premier indian restaurant, bar none - I have been in many across the country & this one trumps them all for service & quality of food, even down to the complimentary 'flame thrower' brandy. I'm talking REAL flavour, man.

Darwen has a couple of above average Asian food outlets and this is one of them. The service is always polite and the food regularly meets expectations. Not the best you will ever try, but one to try non-the-less

No I don't own the place. My partner and I have eaten here a few times recently and always been made to feel welcome and remembered. A fantastic menu with great friendly staff. A must for Indian food lovers
